Eddie Chambers is ready for Wladimir Klitschko

Fast Eddi As much as I respect Fast Eddi, I doubt he'll be a challenge. What has Eddi: - good defense - good chin - fair punching power (for a HW) - great speed (for a HW) - good skills - good experience What has Wlad: - great defense (including jab) - fair chin - great punching power - great speed (for a HW) - great skills - great experience (50+ pro fights) - bigger reach I think Wlad is superior in almost every department, so I'd put my money on Wlad.

Ready to get knocked out probably. Eddie is good and has shown improvements but I don't give him great chances to beat Klitschko.

yep,.,,and the low boxing iq guys will say "why didnt chambers event try in there" when the fact is its not easy when you have a 6'6 guy shooting down on you with straight quick punches and a thudding left jab in your face all night Chambers is very good defensively at making taller boxers miss, he's not that much at a disadvantage as you think.

Bullshit "Chambers has good power." My ass. He beat on Dimentrenko all night and barely hurt him. That's after a sustained beating. You think Wlad wouldn't have knocked that dude out with about 4 rounds? Chambers is too small and takes too many punches to stand a chance in there, he won't win a round, and he's getting TKO'd by the 6th. EVERYONE says what you're saying before they fight Wlad. Maybe you're the broken record of Brock, Ibragimov, Chagaev and Byrd. That's why Dimitrenko's eyes were completely swollen and Dimitrenko was throbbing in pain from rounds 7-12 and looked like he can barley stand in the 12th round? No Chambers doesn't have knockout power like Wlad or Arreola, but he has pretty good power. And I never predicted Ibragimov, Brock, Byrd, would beat Wlad.

wlad is a whole different beast compared to the fragile dim. I think chambers will go into a shell as he did with povetkin once he feels the power of wlad. I think its a one sided fight in wlads favor yeah i agree, and wlad will stop him around the 8th.imo:boxing:

Many people wondered how a small heavyweight like Chambers would do against much taller boxers, and when he beat Dimitrenko he pass the test. People don't realize that beating Dimitrenko was great preparation for Wladimir or any other tall boxer. I think this fight should happen this year, of course it all depends on the IBF and Povetkin. Haye and Arreola may have a good shot at beating Wlad because they have the physical assets, but they don't have the skills or defense to figure out Wlad. I dont think Eddie will ever be ready for Wlad, he is a very skilled fighter but i dont see him beating Wlad. Wlad has better ring generalship than Dimtrenko, Wlad will command the centre of the ring which is what he always does. If Dimtrenko would of backed Eddie up and stayed in the centre of the ring using the jab, he might have had more success. Arreola does not move his head and comes in on the line, so if he does not move Wlad out of the centre of the ring i see him being KTFO, his best bet is to bum rush Wlad like Peter and keep it on him, Wlad gets disorganized when you back him up. Haye is too open imo. Id give Eddie as good a chance as those guys though, if not better.

Povetkin has not been busy. He's fought twice in the last 18 months and one fight was against a complete bum. Wlad is going to kick his ass and most of the people here will say Povetkin is a bum who wouldn't be in the top ten of any other boxing era. Same with Chambers. people will say that about every single fighter ... no matter what

He's going to have to have exceptional timing, and even then, I doubt it will be enough. He's small AND he lacks power. Those two things are not a winning recipe against the Klitschkos. He'll need exceptional stamina and the ability to take a few punches along the way. Being lazy is not going to win you fights at that level. At least the Povetkin guy looks as though he's a busy fighter. Not excited about a fight like this at all. It will just be another beatdown. Chambers has very underrated power. He has enough power to keep opponents honest and he showed that against Povetkin, Peter, and Dimitrenko. He wouldn't be able to knock down a 6'7 heavyweight if he didn't have power. He hurt Peter a couple times and Peter's mouth was bleeding by the end of the 10th round. Povetkin's right eye was almost closed when he fought Chambers. So Chambers does have enough power to hurt Wlad.

Seriously if Haye and Arreola knew how to block punches, move in angles, slip punches, and fight smart, I would favor both fighters over Wlad. Leave it to Chambers to do all the dirty work. :)

I like Chambers.....he just doesnt have the power to beat Wlad...only one person does..Haye. Haye has the physical assets, but he doesn't have the skills. Most opponents can't even get past Wlad's jab, it would take a complete boxer to beat Wlad like a prime Holyfield. In terms of boxing ability Chambers is ready for Wlad, he's no longer a prospect he's a complete boxer. Will that be enough to beat Wlad? I don't know because of the size disadvtange, but from what I've seen he has a good shot.
