Do you fellas think Valero is overrated?? I have watched one fight on PPV and he absolutely destroyed the dude he fought. I know for sure he has power, his speed is descent, but his defense is concerning i mean he throws bombs all the time. plus this will give us something to talk about besides: pacman is the best fighter ever, cotto will get knocked out, may-marquez fight will sell two tickets and half of a ppv and all of the other bs that is going on up in here. :feedback:
we can up it to 100k mate.
Done and sigged. :smile1:
Dude.. This is some awful sh*t right here. Anyone throws a hard strike up the middle and he's toast. He loads up on those body hayemakers like Happy Gilmore tees off.. Not many guys take a galluping step as they load. If he lands on your chin your dead but generally speaking an elite level pro should have no trouble anticipating him all night.(or as long as Valero lasts.)
Damn. You just watched it, huh? I don't think "Straight up awful shit" even covers it. :laff2: Even Froch makes more of an effort to defend (occasionally) than he does.
Well that's what happened.I actually thought he was gonna get smoked but he came back good.
I like him too but he is way overrated for what he has done.
Flash knockdown?
LOL,he was getting hit repeatedly with right hands till he went down.I wouldn't say he was really hurt but he wa buzzed. No flash KD.
And the ref gave him al the time he needed after.
lol, give me some leverage here. I'm tryin to defend a favorite.
Linares will never fight him, he is a featherweight. Also, they are on the same team(teiken), train at the same gym(teiken), have the same exact coach(sendai tanaka), and have the same management team(teiken). I wouldn't be surprised if they were best friends.
That was a flash knock down, and he still won by KO. If Soto-Valero comes through, you will change your mind. Soto will get KO'd and you opinion will change.

That's because heis competition is very weak.. when he did fight a decent fighter in mosquera he got dropped.. Guzman, soto, Linares would expose him.. im not sure on juan diaz because he's too feather fisted..

My mistake. The commentary was Japanese, and the fighter's name was Genaro Trazancos.
Possibly the sloppiest fight I've ever seen.

Got damn, I wish I could give you some Green K for this one.
Edwin Valero is the man at 135. I would compare his style to Manny Pacquiao before he hooked up with Freddie. Pacquiao basically faught the same way until Freddie polished him up.
Valero has a damn good trainer, highly regarded trainer but he needs some help on the defensive side. Unless he has a steel chin but I never seen him get bopped on the chin much.

jmm got rocked by a slow, plodding, unathletic, light punching baby bull.
Valero is the complete opposite & is a southpaw. What do you think is gonna happen?

Can't stand him.
I watched one of his fights (against some Japanese guy) and as soon as he started letting his hands go without any regard for defence, I said out loud "WHAAAAAAAAAAAT is this shit?! This is the guy they've been hyping up as the next god?! Fuckin hell, have mercy".
I then watched more, and it got worse and worse. I don't care if he comes to fight, he is the shittiest boxer I've seen for many years. I don't rate KO records as much as some idiots on here do.
i can't stand him either. i really wish someone would put him down and teach him the importance of defense but unfortunately, i don't see that happening at 135.
he beats anybody at 135. marquez, guzman, funeka, baby bull, anybody.
i dont know about marquez. jmm is a counter pucher and i think he would eat him up since valero is a come at you kind of fighter. but he probably would beat funeka and guzman and quite possibly baby bull.

he isn't the most technical and he reminds me of the old Pacquiao where he just threw the same punches. He does have destructive power.
Do you remember the name of that boxer?

he does get wild in there but im guessing he has so much confidence in his power he dont give a ****. im sure somebody will tag him and he will have to tighten it up. i will say this if his defense gets better boxers in his weight range better watch out!:boxing:

Do you remember the name of that boxer? I'd like to see the japanese fellows we're always making fun of on NSB. Especially a fight where he exposes himself for being a minimal defense-hayemaker machine.
