the only reason maidana was leading was because firstly the poll was made late at night when everyone in the uk is asleep

I don't know about that, Maidana seems to pull out an overnight (UK time) lead every night, leaving Khan catching up during the day. A lot may hinge on the time the poll closes.

Maidana has an extremely tight lead, with 51% and less than 500 more votes. maidana is f ucked if this is the deciding factor in who Floyd fights. By the 9th Khan will be leading the vote with at least 58-60%.

It's not that they're not counting votes for Maidana; they've likely simply hired someone to accumulate votes for Khan all day (hell, Khan's people could be behind it). It's not rocket science.
Khan wouldn't win this poll legitimately almost anywhere, especially with Maidana coming off the hype of beating the **** out of Broner and Khan coming off going life and death with Diaz.
