Does anyone know?
To me I don't think beating Amir Khan would be an amazing feat at all.
I really don't get why the best p4p fighter in the world is going to fight Amir Khan. Not one single clue.
Is it a tune up fight?
Is it about more money?
Does Floyd really only care about his health and his family?
Floyd fans what do you think about that?
its to duck the real threats, pacquiao, martinez, lara, maidana, prov, bradley, garcia and porter
the last thing about picking khan is about money
the biggest ppv buyers are mexicans and they either don't know who khan is or if they do know khan, they know he sucks
uk fanbase ain't anywhere near the mexican fanbase.
Hardcore boxing fans ain't buying this sh*t and neither will casuals
pac - top rank , already turned the fight down twice
bradley - top rank
provo - top rank and isnt anyware close to deserve a shot at floyd
martinez - who cares hes old and would get beaten up
garcia - clearly stated he aint ready for floyd
porter - ?? Comon seriously ?? Porter comon man
I live in UK. Boxing isnt big in UK and Khan doesnt sell sht over here. Hell, most brits hardly consider him British. He's not a well liked fighter either, considered an immigrant.
I know its hard for Floyd fans to accept, but Khan is a mediocre fighter at a shtty moment of his career and its just the safest fight he could find while still being a name that rings a bell.
Yup, and nobody likes him here in the USA either and he doesn't have a fan base. This fight will bomb on PPV, guaranteed.
I'm still holding out hope that Danny Garcia is the opponent. Khan is a tune-up at best. And a lose-lose for Floyd. Win? Who cares? Look bad or lose? Oy.

Khan sells out every venue, his fight with Diaz sold out in 20 mins (i tried to get a ticket), 1000's of tickets in Kell Brooks hometown
If you are going to talk about something, at least know what ur talking about
You might live in the UK, some countryside town with a population of 4, but some of us have actually attended boxing fights and seen how popular the sport is. There are 3 actve boxers in the UK who can sell out a venue all up and down the country, Khan, Froch and Haye and they have the numbers to prove it. The hardest place to sell a boxing fight is London, yet all 3 have sold out venues there on a number of occasions.

did they announce the khan fight yet?
Goldenboy have been pushing for this fight as Khan is now a liability, this fight was always destined to happen, it was suppose to happen after the Garcia fight, but Khan as we know lost
GBP have invested a lot of time and effort in to Khan, and he is still a lucrative and exciting boxer.
For Floyd he signed a deal and he has to keep the ppv numbers up or if they are going to take a loss then they need it not to be huge, Khan is a name, regardless, it makes economic sense.
Also folks needs to stop doubting Khan, he poses challenges for Floyd.
it's an easy fight for big money. UK fighters get on UK ppv in big fights, and they sell well. boxing is big over there.
floyd mayweather doesn't give a damn about anything but money. he wants to maximize the profitability of his boxing career. that means you take little risk for high reward when you can. i can't see how anybody would be ignorant to that.

They think Mayweather is afraid of Pacquaio, yet every time I post this video, all I get is crickets chirping in response.
Yet I prefer crickets rather then delusional biased BS, so I'll just keep posting it.
at 6:50.
I cant see the video at work, what happens at 6:50 ????

He's taking the easy road to 50-0 bro.

I don't understand people here...I don't think they know this sport or the ***** happening behind these fighters...people keep saying he should fight Bradley, Pacquiao, Garcia, maidana...u guys r seriously ****in@ stupid...he can't fight Bradley or pacqiao as they r on top rank and golden boy and too rank do not do business together so cut that dumb ***** out or stop posting!!
2nd he can't fight maidana as broner has except used his rematch clause u dumb a$$es...don't y'all ever read or things besides this website?? I mean it was posted here like 2 days ago c'mon
3rd Garcia has said himself that he is innovating to move up or fight Floyd...and I agree wit Danny...he's dominating and doing great where he's at...when the time comes he move up
4th is that if TR and GBP did work together I could honestly say he would be fighting Bradley right now as he would be an easy fight and they r both undefeated...it would be a good selling point but still be kinda hard to sell at the end of the day cause Bradley doesn't have a big following at all...
Good question. However it runs further than that.
See Floyd fans were hoping he'd fight Maidana. See cause even though Maidana basically provides the same threat, not much of any, he's a legit title holder. That's why everyone was mad at Broner for exercising his rematch.
But What the people opposed to Floyd/Khan don't realize is that Broner did the entire boxing community a huge favor. They took Floyd's easy cop out away. Now lets understand this, Floyd doesn't have to fight Khan. He has probably thee most options out there of any fighter. He can do away with the gimmicks and hunt big game or not be surprised when Floyd/Khan flops heavily.
I hope Danny sticks to his guns and refuses to be another cop-out. He can build his own legacy and not be a statistic.
'Kahn is a tremendous fighter, a young hungry lion who's done something right to get this far.'
Its a low risk high reward fight.
A pretty damning state of affairs if you ask me.
Can you imagine any other sport were the top team doesn't have to take on the other top teams in and around them and just plays them teams lower down for profit?
