Only poll ever created that I have seen that has Khan ahead. Every other poll has Maidana with at least 60%....
I guess Floyd thinks everyone is really that dumb.
To myself. :bottle:
So a poll is rigged because it lets a fanbase vote? If it didn't let them vote it would be legit? :pat: :pat:
Edit: aimed at others
Just because a lot of fanboys tend to flock to this site doesn't mean that the world isn't filled with sensible people. I'm very certain that a large percent of Khan fans would vote for Maidana here, simply based on Maidana having fought at the weight and has managed to get some good wins under his belt as well. It's not all fanbase vs fanbse here.
Khan was always gonna win poll he has 1.5mill twit followers compared 2 maidanas 80k ish followers - khan v maywether's a better fight anyway and we're not gonna see may v pac - really danny garcia deserves a shot but thats not happening either so khan really is bestt option nd will be entertaining fight khan may evan surprise us all in this fight virg h is a great trainer

Yeah no ****, everybody said this would happen before the poll was released!
Questions needs to be answered if this turns out! I'm a Mayweather fan, but I'm a boxing fan first and foremost, and Floyd is increasingly ****ing over the sport and his fans
Eddie Hearn says Khan is Britain's No.1 boxer in terms of marketability, he's top of the pile. He named Haye at #2 and Froch at #3, Brook at #4 and Groves/Fury #5.
i would have thought haye would be above him now (thanks to his reality television exploits), but i can see it. khan, from the time he won his olympic medal until the time he signed for gbp and started fighting in america, was ubiquitous in british media.
:lol1:
Exactly, yet that's the true reflection of votes? A website which won't let khan fans vote :lol1:
. . . and the official poll is 'rigged' for the very reason that it let's Khan's British fanbase vote! Not to mention that you haven't been able to vote for Maidana for the last eight hours despite his number of votes increasing.
I've heard a rumour that there was a puff of smoke from a grassy knoll during the staging of a fake moon landing caused by 2pac passing a blunt to Elvis whilst telling him that he voted for Khan 'cause he's a Muslim brother.
. . . which would seem more conceivable to some that the fact that Amir Khan, whom boxing fans have been watching since before he turned professional and was held up as a much needed poster-boy for British multiculturalism, has a bigger fanbase than Marcos Maidana.
i think you guys are underestimating khan's media profile and online presence in the uk. he gets plenty of mainstream exposure here - i would go so far as to say that he's a household name - and on top of that has a pretty significant die-hard following, largely consisting of fellow british muslims. and he stays in constant contact with these people through social media.
maidana is going through his 15 minutes of fame at the moment but his core fan base remains minuscule compared to khan's. once he suffers another loss he will fall off the map again.

Floyd's poll:
Amir Khan (16213 votes) 54%
Marcos Maidana (14023 votes) 46%
.............................................................
... But on ESPN:
Which of his two "contenders" should Floyd Mayweather fight next?
Amir Khan 38%
Marcos Maidana 62%
(Total votes: 61,045)
It's pretty obvious it's rigged, if they want to fight Khan then simply go with it. The good news is, this whole situation is actually helping get Maidana's name out there so from that sense I'm actually happy for him.
Guess so, and most of the "outside" world wants to see a sh** fight apparently. The people's choice Amir Khan..lol, Floyd knows how to pull one over on his idiot fans that's for sure.
Putting Khan to one side, do you think Mayweather v Maidana is a good fight?
No one outside of espn readers knows about the ESPN poll. I didn't know there was an espn poll. I can't even vote on that poll. :lol1:
Yet people claim that's a true reflection. GTFO. The world is not America, I know you people don't hold a passport to leave your land, but there is a world outside of it.

The espn.co.uk boxing site doesn't even have the poll up.
why you pussies crying? you don't have to pay for his fight
you wanna vote? vote with your wallet, stream this shit, time for fans to put their collective foot down and tell these fighters and promoters that we're not paying $60-70 to watch garbage
Stream this crap and waste an hour of my life? Sorry man, got better thinks to do with my time.:D
Let me save you the time:
Khan will chase Floyd for a bit, maybe landing a punch here and there but lacking the power to change anything. Floyd will defend and counter him until Khan gets tired, hitting and not getting hit wining the early rounds already. Then he will dance around him pot shooting Khan for the rest of the fight into a UD. Maybe if Khan looks extra crappy Floyd risks a tad more and KO him, at least sparing you some of the waste of time that this fight is.

I guess Khans army only vote in the one that counts.
Lets face it, which Brits and Pakistanis are going on the ESPN website?
Maidana is coming off a hugely popular win over Broner. American ESPN fans are voting for him because of that reason.

Everything is a ****ing conspiracy these days.
Its totally conceivable that many Khan fans panicked when they realised he was badly behind.
And remember, Khan has Allah behind him! lol
