well threadstarter...
um...
i cant ever blame someone for stopping a fight (no matter if the fighter, ref, doctor, or corner) if they have reason to believe anymore punishment would result in permanent damage.
I agree where did I say different??????
You only get one life to live and who wants to spend it with permanent brain damage?
I agree where did I say different????
Its not a matter of being mexican or not.
but it are Mexicans that want fellow Mexicans to go to war in the ring and never give up , acting like giving up is the worst crime ever
Of course i like to see the guys that lay it all on the line but i wouldnt call someone a coward for calling the fight.
I agree but there are many people out there that call fighters that quit cowards.....after McClellan quit vs Benn even the comentator said "McClellan quits like a dog" ---- and that dude probably now blames Benn for rabbit punching... so I guess it are not just mexicans but many boxing fans in general
My most recent example that comes to mind was the cotto v. margarito fight. You cant blame someone in cotto's position (or cotto's corner) for stopping that fight. He gave his best and in the end he tired himself out and the best he could do was trade with margarito and by the time the 11th rolled around he was just getting battered. look at his face after the fight. it was easily apparent that he couldnt have lasted much longer without risking permanent damage. he looked the worst i'd ever seen him. his head was so swollen from all the punching.
I agree but many people called him a coward
you're saying you'd rather see the guy get permanently ****ed up for your entertainment?
please quote me where I ever said that
exactly.
exactly what????
someone ban this troll.
freedom of speach mutha****a, deal with it you fake italian mofo who probably cant even speak italian....... eating spaghetti every day and having grandparents who were born in italy doesnt make you italian...... if it did then we should all call ourselves african anyway
Atually Nope!!!!!!
this man speaks the truth.... but he probably does it because he is from puerto rico and he hates mexicans
I believe everybody has a chance to exceed any physical ability upon proper training. However I notice a trend in boxing physical ability and race / nationality.
Blacks: speed, footwork, barely gets bruise or cut
Asian: Speed, footwork, resistance
Mexican: resistance, Heart
Colombian: Punching Power
Panamanian: Punching Power, Chin
Argentineans: Chin
what about caucasians? -------or are you a racist????
What about Calzaghe, Haugen, Loughran, Maxim, Sturm, DeWitt?
that is bad reasoning its like claiming asians arent generally shorter than caucasians by saying Hong Man Choi is very tall
Outstanding post
Can't wait for you to post your documentation for this postulat.
Jeff Lacy was a faster puncher than Joe Calzaghe? :smashfrea
Enzo Maccarinelli is tougher than Oliver McCall? :lol1:
generally speaking of course you cant judge it individually when its about race thats invalid
but most of the fastest boxers of all time are black: roy jones, meldrick taylor, floyd patterson, muhammad ali
hardest punchers: george foreman, max baer, julian jackson, jack dempsey
toughest boxers: joe grim, battling nelson, arturo gatti, rocky marciano
