I cant remember Joe Calzaghe's first 3 defences of his SPMW World Title being in the calibre of : Pascal , Taylor & Dirrell . (I know Pascal was for the vacant title but still) The guy is 3 & 0 against all of the above love him or hate him respect is deserved !!!!!!!

With the recent joke of an announcement that Floyd could go to Mexico and fight Alvarez !!!!!! And Floyd pricing or talking himself out of every fight the boxing world wants to see , the question is why do we need him !!!!! We Have a super fight in the midst and we have Shane Mosley waiting in the wings for the winner , who knows what type of trilogy we could get between these 3 world class stars , there is a lot of scope for great fights between these 3 , re matches , unification title fights etc etc etc . But people seem to busy to try and feed off the scraps that the joke Mayweather is willing to leave them !!!!!!!!!!!!!

With all the talk about the split between Pac & Floyd , its clear to everyone that Mayweather needs Pacquiao !!!!!! For if Floyd Mayweather doesnt not fight Pacquiao (providing he gets through Cotto) , he will never be considered the best P4P fighter in the world again as long as him and Pacquiao are still active . Floyd cannot possibly price himself out of a fight with Manny , this fight is way too important to him plane and simple it has to happen !!!!!!! Pacquiao on the other hand a fist full of options , should he beat Cotto , Mosley , Berto , Marquez 3 , Valero , Juan Diaz , even Khan !!!!! , granted it will only be Mosley Pac that will get near or match the Floyd payday , but Pacquiao has already won over the boxing public and a win over Cotto will solidify this , Mayweather never has and wont until he fights Pacquiao !!!!!!
