halfway through this thread I gotta say that bika's wife is hand's down the ugliest followed by Calazghe's girl. Calzaghe's wife looks plastic as hell. She must have had a ton of plastic surgeries done on her face.
The hottest is Carl Froche's wife followed by Przemyslaw Saleta girl.

These are all opinions you are stating about eminem. Because you think Eminem killed biggie on a track that makes him the best rapper? Music is subjective, not objective, fool. Congrats on making yourself look like the biggest fool I've ever seen on a messageboard.

Someone already pointed out that whites don't dominate in soccer, which is true. They also don't dominate in baseball. That goes to asians and latinos.
I like strikers--kickboxing, boxing, mau thai or whatever, I just laugh at the cowards that have to take a man down to punch them, or get them in a position where they can submit them and then talk shit like they're more of a man than a person that puts on a boxing gloves and takes punishment that may cause them brain damage down the line.
I care less for grapplers.
Tyson vs Douglas is the best fight that I've ever seen just because of the magnitude of what Douglas was doing as each round went on. The 8th and 9th rounds of that fight are the most exciting that I've ever seen in boxing.
you know what all you have to do is look at an MMa fighters face after a fight compared with a boxers ...fact there were more ring deaths in MMA in a shorter timespan then boxing has ever had that is why they made the rule change in UFC
Are you kidding? Dana White, UFC president, himself said that there's never been a death in MMA.
the gloves make little diffrence on the pressure being exerted on the place where the punch landed. bone is harder than glove but the pressure is similar, the crushing shock is taken away by the gloves but not the concusive force. both have the same force but a smaller glove will do more superficial damage because of contact area. ie cut and break skin beacuse a smaller area has to deal with the force. same principal of why bullets kill people very small dense object, "fist without glove" vs bean bags moving at the same rate of speed or force and not causing damage.
While a MMA glove may cause more superficial damage, it will also stop the fight sooner than a boxing glove because of the argument that you gave. A smaller glove will do more crunching damage to bone, whereas a boxing glove may hit with the same force but the padding of the glove limits the crunching ability of the blow; I think that people will fall quicker when hit with a crunching shot than a dull shot, thus the boxing match is prolonged, causing more pressure on the brain to be substained.
Boxing is definately the more dangerous sport. It's simple: All you have to do is compare the amount of deaths that have occured in sanctioned MMA events, 0, to the amount of deaths that have occured in sanctioned boxing matches, numerous.
Anyone arguing that MMA is more dangerous than boxing needs to think harder.
He looks very skilled, but too cocky at the same time. I don't think you can be champion when you don't take every fight seriously. The guy should have gotten ko'd.
Not true. James Toney has magical powers. He can overcome anything.
Toney is the man, I'll give him that.
It's very true, most people never recover 100% after an ACL tear. Any tear of the ligaments, MCL, ACL, etc. just don't regain 100% ability. Everyone I've known whose torn it has said it's one of the most painful experiences ever.
It fuckin stings. Actually, when it initially happens, it doesn't really hurt. When you tear your achilles, you hear a loud pop and it feels like someone threw a rock or tennis ball at your achilles. The worst feeling is when you're in a cast. When the tendon is healing, it feels like someone is grinding away at it with a saw. I only post my concern about Toney because I've gone through the injury and have seen pro atheletes never return to where they where before they suffered it.
Yes compare yourself to a world class athlete. haha.
People are funny sometimes.
What does that have to do with anything? What because he's a professional boxer, somehow an achilles tendon tear means nothing to him? Don't be stupid. Anyone with knowledge of science knows how brutal the injury is. I've talked to a few doctors and they're all of the opinion that it's one of the hardest injuries for an athlete to overcome. It doesn't matter who the fuck you are, it's a tough injury. Dan Marino, Vinny Testaverdi, Harold Minor, and a alot of other atheletes have suffered the injury only to never have the same jumping ability or speed that they did prior to it.
I don't get the reasoning behind your post.
The reasoning is this: comparing your recupertive abilities to that of a world class athlete is idiotic. Apart from the actual "athelte" part of it, they have access to personell, medicine, and treamtment that you couldn't get on your best day
My point in pointing out my injury is to explain how damaging the tear was to me even though I had alot of treatment done to it. And how would you know what I've done to recupe from the injury? The real idiotic thing is you making the statement with absolutely no knowledge of who I am or what the fuck it is that I do. I know that I may not have had nearly as much treatment done to my injury as Toney did, but the point is that there is only so much treatment that you can do to an injury like that. More often that not, the athelete will never be the same no matter how much work is done. It doesn't matter if he your an average joe with an 1000 dollar surgery compared to a James Toney with a 2000 dollar surgery and access to top notch medical treatment, the fact still remains that it is hard for ANYONE to overcome.
I tore my achilles tendon a couple years ago like Toney did, and let me tell you, it's one of the worst injuries that an athlete can have. I don't think he'll ever be the same as he was before the injury.
yeah an achilles injury is the worst, if your a footie player thats pretty much you finished, but boxing is different, you don't run flat out for large periods of time.
I wouldn't really say so. In boxing, you use your legs alot, especially for gaining power in your punches. Also, your going to exert alot of pressure on that tendon when in a stance. Hope he's 100 percent from it, though.
