over what, lmfao your idiotic topic thread?
Your thread is title "Tricks Mayweather does that no one notices part 3"
Keyword = Notices
How the fuck is anyone can see what you mean without a damn video or a damn gif. Thread is a fail.
Only people who are gonna reply are the same two dumb ass fan group the flomos and pactards and neither are gonna really care what you talking about just use your thread as another outlet to spewl thier BS.
In other words shut the **** up. That's why you read you illiterate bastard. Take that dick out ya ass
Yes he is fairly overhyped. He has talent I can see that but most overhyped fighter Ive seen in years
1. Hes good but good but its not freakishly great. You understand when you watch more knockout artists. They go through the exact thing on the come up. He reminds of prime Bob Foster. If you search him up they fight really similar hunt you down power till you drop strategy. But he was a light heavyweight
2. Sorry to sound so blunt but I dont get why you get the idea that he has an iron chin. I personally watched all of his pro fights and he has by far taken a small amount of punishment and all his pro fights except for a few exceptions. One fight in the beginning when he fought a tough undisputed fighter like him but he couldn't knock him out or when he fought a tough southpaw when he first hired Abel Sanchez that went the distance. Last is probably Curtis Stevens who didn't land nearly as nearly punches. If its because of his amateur record stop yourself. Most fighters who go through that many fights find ways to take less punishment even if they exchange like Lomanchenko or Rigondeaux
3. One thing thats sets people off is cutting off the ringvis suprisingly easy to do. It baffles me how many pros cant do it. Track your opponent with your lead footwork. If they try to circle out just take a step back and lstep to your right or left. Mid range is your opponents worst enemy since he can't fight with his bsck against the ropes yet he doesn't wanna run into my punches. Hes trapped. If they escape immediately return to the center and start again
They will be studying Floyd's style for decades to come. He's a goldmine of technical boxing wizardry.
One trick of his I like is how he used the jab to the body to set up either an overhand right or a left hook. He'd get guys so confused with it that they wouldn't know which direction the punches were coming from.
Lol that jab to the body right hand combo was in my first post
The way he successfully places his left shoulder in his opponent's face, getting under them whilst working the midsection with short right uppercuts, usually people miss that. Mayweather is such a difficult target to hit up close.

Oh yes he did that the whole fight. You see floyd fight this way alot when hes sparring
This is a good one that was effective against Canelo:

You can see Canelo looking for that uppercut but Floyd was able to smother him to avoid return fire.
PS...This isn't a good site to have an intelligent, technical boxing discussion about Floyd Mayweather. His name just attracts too many bitter trolls. You can see how the thread plays out but expect a lot of flaming and immaturity.
You're right about that. You're the only person in the entire thread who didn't troll. I bet if I posted tricks GGG likes to do, it would get less trolls
Here's your shovel hook to the body. He threw way more combinations back in his younger days.

That's a great find man

This one's great, he anticipates Canelo's left, counters him before he even gets the shot off, counters him again when Canelo's arm is fully extended, tries to counter him after the punch (not sure if it lands) but manages to also evade the return fire from the right hand.
How the hell do you guys make gifs. And how do you make them so fast?
Hard to take you seriously when you post things like, "Its amazing how so many boxers forget about this move" and "fighters will mostly be unaware they threw it".
Not trying to discourage you as I love discussions on technique but nobody likes a know-it-all. I'm sure Carl Froch was well aware of which punches he was throwing. These are guys who are top talent and to assume they are just forgetting techniques is a bit presumptuous.
This guys^^
Go and watch the Murray fight and see what Golovkin did to him when he tried to hold and clinch and see how quickly Murray gave up that tactic. Then learn a bit more about boxing in general before making any more stupid posts.
:slap:
I got a better idea. Get off Golovkins dick. There's always someone out there to beat May weathe
Get off that Kazakhstan dick he's gonna get beat by Ward anyway
indeed.....senior explained this before Floyd fought Maidana
Also Broner doesn't utilize upper body movement enough for it to be as effective as it can be or head movement....he has some of it down pac as far as using it to counter certain shots and throw off parrys and blocks
Lol I noticed that too
Absolutely Not.
Of course Mayweather is getting older and eventually time will catch up with him if he continued to fight. But, atlthough Canelo is getting better he showed no indication of being better fighter to best Mayweather. It seemed the people he fought who boxed for the slightest bit gave him trouble. Although impressive wins of Angulo and Kirkland they where pretty much stationary targets also defenses had more holes than swiss cheese. Also since he was absolutely dismantled against Mayweather it would seem unlikely he would beat him and the fight not happening.
That fight would be just helping some random guy pay his college tuition by betting on Mayweather
Hi might make a little noise hear and there but im not sold on him yet. The competition for cruiserweight just keeps coming and likely would have a hard time dealing with Usyk and Tabiti.
