FULL INTERVIEW!!
BREAKING: FLOYD ADMITS HE IS SCARED OF PACQUIAO!!!!
" Floyd mayweather fights for Floyd mayweather... Look at the Ali situation, if Ali could take it back.. He shouldn't have taken the fights the fans pushed him to (the ones he lost). Floyd Mayweather won't be pushed into fights he doesn't want ... Without Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather is fine. "
.. I offered him 40 million.. Costas : But Manny knows from the PPVs there are at least 150 million.... Floyd: uhh uhh ... ehh ... LOL
'I want to get 100% of the revenues, It's self preservation. My family comes first. If it doesn't happen so be it'..
LMAO one of the biggest ownages in sports history :lol1: :lol1:
I don't see anywhere in this whole video where Floyd gets nervous or owns himself. Everyone who knows anything about Floyd, knows he does whatever he wants. If Manny really wants to fight Floyd he'll take the money and that will be the end of it. Manny would never have a fight worth $150M, would he? Hell no! Mayweather brings in the money... now Pacquiao shut up and take your gift. :bottle:
He had no boxing background nor amateur fights , started boxing REALLY late, and some guys are able to learn faster than others. on the other end, Wilfredo Vazquez Jr is a good example, but he had the upbringing so he had an advantage.
Even If you don't like the fighters, you have to respect their hustle, to just pick up something and be great at it.
Hell I don't dislike any fighter, they have a lot of guts to get in the ring.:boxing:
No its a way to prepare yourself to actually become a good fighter. People advance at different rates
Its doubtful Sergio could have become a pro at 15 like Morales or Pac considering he only started boxing at like 20
Good point. Never thought of it like that.
After watching his last fight I think he would defeat Martínez, Chávez would be very hard to ko and since it is impossible to win a scorecard decision against toprank protected stars lately, Sergio will just avoid the trap and leave the wbc.
I'm getting tired of the WBC and Arum...
Dont go by off what other say, try on as many as you can and feel whats best for you. bag gloves are tended to be thicker for punching that **** hard as you can and dont mess up ur knuckles..
So if I just get some gloves that have thick padding, they would be good for sparring and bag work correct?

BOXING champ George Groves was living in fear last night after gangsters threatened to kill him in a live TV fight.
Police warned Groves, 23, and his fiancée Sophie following a tip-off he would be gunned down in the ring.
The British and Commonwealth super-middleweight champ cancelled tomorrow's satellite TV clash with Scot Kenny Anderson at London's Wembley Arena because of a back injury.
His management said the withdrawal was unrelated to "alleged threats".
A pal said: "George and Sophie were told by CID officers a threat had been made on his life and they should consider their safety. The intelligence said if he wasn't shot before the fight, it would happen in the ring."
Anderson had called world No12 Groves a "coward" for not fighting him.
But Groves said: "I apologise to everyone who spent money around the fight.
"I suffered a back injury sparring and haven't trained properly since."
In November 2010, Groves beat Anderson, 29, in the sixth round of a previous bout. It is not known if the rematch will happen.
In 2010, Anderson was cleared of the attempted murder with a hammer of a drug dealer when witnesses failed to turn up at court. There was no sign of Groves or Sophie at their flat in Hounslow, West London, yesterday. Police said they are not in protective custody.
A spokesman said: "We can confirm a threat to the welfare of a man was made to police in Hounslow."

What a sad world we live in...
Exactly, it boils down to quality vs quantity...
At this rate he will be the Mexican version of Sven Ottke with his fathers name...
JCC Jr spends so much time fighting scrubs... I bet Kell Brook and Senchenko would give him problems! :boxing:
I think he's a journeymen/gatekeeper right now on a the world level.
In Europe he can win titles and still be a top guy. But not on a world level. No way.
You think Kell Brook has what it takes?
Before anyone trolls...
go to your sport store and have a look at all the16oz boxing gloves (doesn't matter what brand) and compare it to a bag gloves.
Some makes wil have less or different padding, but 16s should always be more padded than bag gloves.
Only store around here with boxing equipment is Dicks Sporting Goods lol.
1- Chavez Jr is 100% the bastard child of salma hayek.
2- People don't understand the fact that Chavez Jr literally can not be KOED by any middleweight not name Marvin Hagler or Tommy Hearns. This guy's chin is made of something beyond granite, he's immune to pain as well. The scary thing is Big Chavez will just get bigger, he will probably go into the sergio fight at 190
3- Nobody will ever win a decision against Chavez for the next 10 years.
So essentially Sergio is dead
He cant ko him he can't decision him
The only thing Sergio can do is take a paycheck and get the hell out of dodge.
Also
Andre Ward
Chavez jr coming for you brother, its inevitable
I'm starting to think he'd win too. I mean, dude comes in 180+ and would probably constantly push Martinez around... since Martinez claims to be asmall dude anyway.
Damn, so Chavez Jr cuts around 20-30 pounds before a fight??:wtf1:

Bob Arum tells me that they are going ahead with Brandon Rios-Richie Abril, basically with or without HBO..... #boxing
Arum...:fu2:
I know he hasn't consistently been hit with hard shots but he has taken some big shots before. Given he taken them relatively good physically not going down and such but maybe it has taken it toll on him mentally. Remeber a Young Floyd Mayweather (youtube him if you dont) he spoke rather clearly and made sense. Now today's Floyd Mayweather he pratically a stuttering machine and constantly never making any sense in his interviews.
Disclaimer: this is not a hate floyd thread. I just thought I bring this up cause I thought about this more then once. Dont believe me their are tons of post I defend floyd on, Dont mind the sig if you do something that looks hella gay I call you out on it.
Maybe because he has to watch what he says.... smarts! The media will twist and turn all he statements around. I haven't really been a huge Mayweather fan, but the way he has everyone on his nutsack, makes me want to be just like him.

Get a clue. You should buy plenty of soap lubricant and give it to Floyd personally. He badly needs that in prison.
What kind of ignorant sh** is that? Prison is nothing to joke about anyways...
On the other hand you probably :wank: in the comfort of you home 24/7. You probably have a closet full of lotion... Am I correct?:nana:
Every fighter has a story to tell. So should every fight show.
That was Kathy Duva’s vision in initially pitching the idea that is now known as NBC Sports Network Fight Night series. That vision now comes with a behind-the-scenes preview, as NBC Sports announced Wednesday its launching of the new pre-fight series “Fight Night 36.” Click Here To Read More]

World Boxing Council President Jose Sulaiman has revealed to BoxingScene(dot)om that Floyd Mayweather Jr. (42-0, 26KOs) will lose his status as the WBC welterweight champion, because the boxer is moving up to junior middleweight to fight Miguel Cotto for the WBA championship on May 5th, and then Mayweather will spend three months in jail for a domestic abuse charge.

A source close to the situation has advised BoxingScene.com that Eloy Perez tested positive for cocaine following his fourth-round stoppage loss to Adrien Broner in St. Louis on February 25.
