First of all let me say that I pick Floyd against Manny. But honestly I dont think he is scared of the man.First of all Floyd doesnt have the power to intimidate Manny like that.Second Manny has lost before so he knows how it taste unlike Floyd. And I just think dnt think that it is in Manny's nature to be scared. On the other hand I do think Floyd is worried a little (not scared) of the possibility of losing and having a blemish on his record.
I may be wrong but manny is not a true 7 division champion.and no im not saying cause of the wbo belt.i actually count the wbo title but the won he won at 140 was an ibo.so technically he is a 6 division champ just like oscar delahoya who was a 10 time 6 division champion and beat a total of 17 ex champs including chavez, quartey, vargas, ruelas, molina, camacho, and genaro hernandez.and the fights he should have one like the second mosley fight.and then again did oscar really beat felix sturm to win the 160 title.and i love manny but dont make it seem like he has the greatest accomplishment in boxing history.
I think that if he could make the weight why not.Right now the super lightweight division is looking more star studded than then the welterweight division. You have Alexander,Maidana,Khan, and Ortiz. And is not like anybody even mentions him in the welterweight div.His situation reminds me a little to Paul Williams a couple yrs ago great talent but no one wants to take a chance.
Why's the link so damn long? Oh, it's you just blabbering nonsense, get back with link please..
I dnt need a ****ing link for something so obvious. You probably also need a link to proof to you that OJ kill Nicole.
Get me the link that proves that Margarito had plaster on that fight as well, I would love to read it..
Cotto was one of the hottest fighters when he fought Margacheato. That was Tony's biggest fight.Margacheato was known as a great fighter that many boxers dodged him and a win over Cotto would put him into superstar status. If he try against mosley who many thought was washed up he mos definetly used it againsy Cotto who was an actual threat to beat him.
It should be a message to both fans.Alot of Floyd fans think it will be a walk to the park fight against Manny.Everybody wants to see Mayweather in a brawl and Manny is the only one that has the skill to make it into one.
If you notice right before that 9th round started Cotto signal to the crowd that he was going to end it.It was the body shot that eventually got him down.
Great win but not p4p yet.Now if he beats a Angulo or Cintron easily and then i put him on the bottom part of the list..Manny Stewart is going to help him get back though.I honestly believe with Manny on his corner Cotto could upset one of the big names.
Cotto against Margarito, he just seeemed like he had fight in the bag through 5 and then got obliged to take knees in route to a stoppage.
Cotto was taking a ****ing beating you cant blame him for kneeling even the early rounds which he won margacheato was giving to him. That was war just like the Thrilla in Manila and nobody criticize frazier for not coming out.For me it was Duran was the worst he was gettin out box and he got frustrated and just gave up like a little as bitch!
Duran it's the universal one, he asked for a personal one if we wanted and I gave him the one I felt was the biggest letdown for me, any problem with that?
You cant never question Cotto's heart dude is a warrior. It aint easy to go eleven rnds with a guy who had plaster on his hand wraps.During that fight people where surprise that his corner even let him go out for that 11th round.
Puerto Rico is U.S. territory so he cant fight here either.I think Cotto will eventually fight him but not anytime soon.I actually believe Cotto wants to fight him to finish his career with an exclamation!I think Cotto will retire in 2011 and Margacheato will be his last fight!
this fight should happen but is Berto willing to go up i think Junito made up his mind to stay at 154.It could be an action pack fight even though Berto is a great boxer he always ends up brawling.
Foreman has ton of heart and Cotto showed he is still legit.I like the way Cotto moved, how he cut of the ring, doubling his jab and the old pickaboo defense.I think Cotto has alot left and i actually think he could make it competive against both Martinez and Paul Williams.Even though Williams scares me more than Sergio cause he throws his punches in bunches.Martinez is a slick savy boxer but like i said before Cotto never has problem with savy boxers.I know people are probably goin to bring up that he is a shot fighter.Manny is the greatest fighter in the world.Cotto got whip so what he just lost to the better man.And the Clottey fight was a good close battle but people forget about the cut.
why wouldn't cotto want to fight jr in cali or sa?
i agree with freeloada why should he fight in cali or texas?even though i think junito could beat him easy even if they fight in mexico i think is disrespectful if this fight ever happens to be held in either of these states.cotto is the establish 2 time world champ who's a warrior and big ppv draw.dude fought former champ cesar bazan when he only had 13 fights under his belt.chavezjr has fought a bunch of bums a have look mediocre at best fighting these bums.
And i disagree with this being an easy fight for foreman ooops let me rephrase that.foreman would give jr a boxing lesson but is to risky for foreman to take this fight if this fight is held in cali or san anton.foreman probably dnt hav the power to ko jr and it will go to the scorecards.and do you really think they going to give a descision to foreman against the great julio ceasar chavez's baby especially in san antonio.
Cruz is the better one allround.but i think my boy jason will improve and the dude is very dedicated.wilfredo bones doesnt impress me it was funny how the crowd in juncos booed his ass.
Sometimes people forget boxing is a business and we see floyd as this cocky motha****a but boxing always going to have that bad guy the showmen.im glad that people get to see the great side of floyd which people overlook because of his flamboyant style.
