First of all let me say that I pick Floyd against Manny.But honestly I dont think he is scared of the man.First of all Floyd doesnt have the power to intimidate Manny like that.Second Manny has lost before so he knows how it taste unlike Floyd.And I just think dnt think that it is in Manny's nature to be scared.On the other hand I do think Floyd is worried a little (not scared) of the possibility of losing and having a blemish on his record.

Aside from fans, Roach is the most vocal of how bad he wants the fight to happen. I can't say the same thing about both Floyd and Pac. I think these two are just going with the motions now. It's clear that they don't want the fight that bad. They'd rather face someone else. Truth is that if Pac/Floyd really wanted the fight so bad, one could decide to remove all obstacles and could even go the extra mile by agreeing to whatever the other side wants. In short, having the opportunity to fight the other should have been foremost. Anything else is secondary. But we see nothing of that.

For some reason or another i see Manny not wanting to fight anymore. He come a cross to me as being confused. Like it's either he doesn't want to fight Floyd. Or seeing it only as a way to get money. As i real fan i don't see anything that says Manny wanna fight Floyd. What do you think it is. He just doesn't wanna fight Floyd or he wanna retire. I admire him for wanting to help his people, but there are many other ways to help his people other than being a politician. Manny never showed that fire towards hatton/odlh/cotto/marquez. He was always soft spoken. One of the few times i remember him upset was after marquez was whining about the Loss in their 2nd match. Manny told'em to step outside and catch a fair one without gloves on. LOL!:boxing: Manny liked all his opponents man, not a big shit talker. He lets his fist do the talking inside the ring. Honestly, and this is coming from a fan of both fighters, I think Pacquiao's trying to slow down his boxing career, and that's completely understandable. IMHO it has nothing to do with Mayweather, it has more to do with the fact the a style like Pacquiao's doesn't allow for a long, healthy life, sooner or later those shot's get to you. I just hope he goes out against the best, win or lose.

I agree with him not really having the passion anymore. I disagree with Floyd having anything to do with it. I think he just knows he's plateaued....he's reached a level where....without Floyd, he can't go any higher and Floyd is just a nightmare to negotiate with(Manny isn't exactly a picnic either). I wouldn't say that he doesn't want to fight, I think that that's a part of his demeanor. He isn't a guy who is often in the American media. I think we tend to put labels on people who are in the lime light to gain some type of bond with them, and Manny is a guy who really doesn't expose too much of his personality to American fans. Even watching 24/7 you really can't put a finger on how he really is. So to say he come off as he doesn't want to fight Floyd or any other boxer out there is kind of a reach IMO. None of us know him personally and get to talk to him on a regular bases, so all we can do is speculate.
