The heavyweight champ is making big money in Europe. So I seriously doubt it's Andre's style or entertainment value. I never even knew Andre expressed interest in fighting overseas.
I was pulling for Garcia but I thought Matthysse gave a better than good account for himself that night. There's no need for him to retire unless he's lost the desire to compete.
Literally every single fight this dude cries.
Angulo. Crying to the ref about the stoppage
GGG. Crying to ref about the stoppage. "no don't stop it! gimme one more yound yo!"
Jleon love. I got robbed yo. da fans no who won.
Quillen. landed a couple decent shots but in no way was he winning or was it close he just had momentum and that's what he's hoding onto. WAH WAH , I could have foguth even though my eye falling out wahhh.
The worst part of this is now I'm going to log into boxingscene or youtube and see interviews from t his clown acting and talking like some supserstar who is a good fighter. he's the definition of a c class fighter.
Ironically I was thinking the same about you. After Ruslan Provodnikov and Mike Alvarado entertained and the right guy won, you cried about referee Tony Weeks' near count out of Alvarado. You even cried about the haircut you received from your barber. You cried after Lucas Matthysse was beaten by Danny Garcia, you're the guy who started a thread called ' 22 Garcia illegal shots' that was countered by another poster who posted a video of 30 illegal rabbit punches by Lucas Matthysse.
You find something to whine about after every fight.
tell me what we would see if the fight took place. I wanna laff

After such an brutal action packed fight, in which both combatants fought with inspiring passion and desire, I find it impossible to complain about the officiating. The right guy won.
Calling someone a gutless coward via Internet is a gutless cowardly act in it's self.
Did they do one on the Holyfield-Tyson fights? That would be nice to see.
This isn't Legendary Nights, but I saw that they did some documentary about the No Mas-fight, anyone seen it? Any good?
And as a sidenote, "When We Were Kings" - the documentary about the Rumble in the Jungle is freaking unbelievable. A must see for every boxing fan.
the Tyson - Holyfield fights were on Showtime
Castillo vs Corralles is a good call
Marquez vs Pacquiao is almost inevitable
Castillo - Corrales was a Showtime fight too.
Which part of HBO Legendary Nights is being misinterpreted?
Andre Ward has beaten every opponent he's faced since the age of 9. When a guy is immune to defeat the way Andre Ward is, you have to assume he's cheating, right? No way is this guy so much better than others who campaign @ 168 lbs, he must be cheating *(sarcasm)*
Angel Garcia along with everyone else knows Danny is not ready for Mayweather. Kudos to him for not being ashamed to admit it.
I disagree with Angel's assessment of the Matthysse fight. His son won a close fight, Matthysse was not exposed.
Hopkins was quite entertaining. It was strange to see him fight that way but it was awesome watching a 48 year old man beatdown a much younger man in a alley fight lol
Herrera won the fight. Without any doubt whatsoever, Herrera won this fight. Garcia's power punches had no effect on Herrera and he walked right through them. Herrera's punches definitely had more effect and really bothered Garcia. In the 12 Th. round, Herrera really rocked Garcia near the end of the 12 th. round. A definite win for Herrera and I could see by Garcia's expressions and attitude during the post fight interview that he lost the fight. He was awarded an unearned decision. The commentators all agreed that Herrera won the fight. The official judges failed to do their job. A black eye for boxing !!!
The November 23 pay-per-view showdown between Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios in Macau marks the third major show promoted by Top Rank to feature the involvement of Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency (VADA) in its random drug testing protocol.
The event marks the first time Pacquiao has subjected himself to random drug testing prior to a fight. The subject was a major issue when talks first surfaced years ago of the possibility of the Filipino superstar facing Floyd Mayweather back when both were considered far and away the best two active fighters in the world.
Contradicting reports managed to surface as to the reasons for Pacquiao’s team previous reluctance–and at times, refusal–to subject the fighter to such testing. The issue once again made headlines thanks to false allegations made that Rios has been the only one tested so far and that Pacquiao wouldn’t be tested until he arrives in China in early November. De La Hoya Retires!
this are De La Hoya´s words: “These last four months have been very difficult for me. I’m announcing my retirement. I’ve been doing this since I was five years old. Boxing is the love of my life, boxing is my passion, boxing is what I was born to do. When I can’t compete, it’s not fair to me and it’s not fair to my fans. I’ve come to the conclusion it’s over inside the ring for me. My decision is based on a lot. Now I understand why athletes have a hard time. My life will continue to help the sport grow.”
it´s a got time to end his career.he faced the elite of the sport like Floyed Mayweather Jr., Hopkins,Shane Mosley, Felix Trinidadand, and many more.. he made a lot money...
Provodnikov Breaks Alvarado is the perfect headline. Alvarado Rocked in Colorado and Ruslan Puts His Foot A Mile High Up Mike's Arse are a couple I came up with.
Great job by Provodnikov :luvbed:
