i don't think this fight is goign to be nearly as one sided s people believe. it sounds silly, because people onyl look at weight classes, but pacquiao is smaller than rios. he's coming off of a knockout loss; a real one. he was unconscious for a long time. his chin let him down in the marquez fight before he was knocked out. how does he react now that he's been put to sleep again in his mid 30's? he's at the end of a career where he's taken punches in victory and defeat. i'm still shading pacquiao because of his footwork and ability to use the ring to generate offense and defense, but it's not going to be the one sided drubbing everybody expects. i'm expecting an exciting fight, with rios walking through a lot of stuff to give manny problems and get him on the ropes at some point. pacquiao decision. Just watch the Margarito fight Pacman had to constantly turn Margarito and throw bombs on him to keep him temporary off him. It was no easy victory, and Margo is slower than Rios. If Pacman beats Rios impressively and withstands Rios barrage I will be shocked. People are acting like I am hating on Manny but I am not, I just don't think his chin or even his body will hold up to a hard hitter like Rios.

rios has suprised me with how fast he is on his feet now, he has built alot of lower body strenght, now he just has to remember to use it on fight night

Whenever I hear of a fighter knocking out sparring partners it's always the first sign of a losing boxer. If that was true, wouldn't the trainer want to keep that close hold so you could possibly have that as an element of surprise in the actual fight. In other words, if Pacquiao and Roach admittedly picked Rios so he could look good against him, if they know he's knocking out sparring partners, you would think they would now want to take a more cautious approach to the fight. We've heard this before, and I hope for Rios' sake he is knocking out sparring partners, because if your attitude is knocking out sparring partners equals knocking out Manny Pacquiao then those will be last KO's you have in awhile.

Bam Bam looks pretty fat right now. Still 147 is a good healthy fighting weight for him. Should be no excuses for this one.
