mayorga's dropped three of his last six, all by knockout and all 3 to fighters known to have a good left hook.
this a terrific style matchup for cotto. cotto by ko from 8-12
pacquiao's 147 lb resume:
joshua clottey: a B class fighter but still a very good win given the dominant fashion
oscar de la hoya: underweight and old but still a very good win
mayweather's 147 lb resume:
shane mosley: old but still a very good win
ricky hatton: outside of his best weightclass but still a very good win
carlos baldomir: a lucky B class fighter but a good win
zab judah: a 5 round fighter but still a very good win
shamba mitchell: a B class fighter and a good win
you decide who's "welterwieght" pedigree is better
i'll take that bet. 100k on the fight going past 11 and a half rounds.
alright man if the clock reaches 1:31 seconds of the twelfth round, you recieve 100k. sig it to make it official
This poll should be unanimous.
i know it should be, but i've been thinking about this fight for a long a time and, for some reason, i just keep imagining winky somehow managing to steal a decision. it's been bothering me so i posted the poll to get other people's opinions.
btw, thanks for the votes and the posts.
i train with him and he has a tremendous work ethic and drive. he's also got really heavy hands. i'm hoping to see big things from him in the coming years and wish him all the best.
i think the pavlik camp should do what deontay wilders handlers are doing and bring in another trainer to supplement the camp. that's what finkel did in bringing in mark breland to aid in training deontay.
I honestly think zelenoff could beat DA1. Zelenoff would beat you or me too. He'd beat anyone who has read any of his posts because anytime someone is laughing that hard, they're easy to ko.
if it its blood on margarito's handwraps and that picture was taken after the cotto fight then the blood on margarito's wraps would be cotto's. over a relatively short period of time, no more than days, blood takes on a brown color and judging by the fact that the supposed blood stains on marg's wraps are red, that would mean that either:
1. cotto's blood somehow got onto margaritos wraps or
2. due to an improper wrap or prior injury, margarito bled onto his wraps.
i like the pair, they've got a great story, they seem like good people, and their fights are almost always entertaining. i hope they start getting title shots in the near future
