You will be surprised... call me crazy but Rigondeux would win this fight, Donaire is an excellent boxer, they are both kind of like made for each other, it would be a fan's dream fight, and the best thing is... it will happen! problably early 2012.
who in gamboa resume is better than De Leon and Penalosa??
Better than De Leon? Darling Jimenez, maybe even Marcos Ramirez.
Better than Peñalosa? none!
But in average, Gamboa has fought better opposition, do the math.
when is he gonna fight a good boxer? don't get me wrong...he's a great athlete but he's gonna get KTFO as soon as he fights someone like juanma. he better improves his defense or bye bye
Luis12, have you seen Gamboa's last 2 fights? I don't think so bro...
His defence has improved a lot, he's a diferent fighter now, only the cyclone is still there when needed.
Gamboa has fought better oposition than Juanma, admit it!
You are comparing De Leon with Ramirez and Jimenez
Jimenez
*has not won any regional belt.
Ramirez
*has not won a world title.
De Leon
*beat Penalosa
*former WBO bantamweight
*former WBC super flyweight
*fought Caballero to 12 decision
Bautista
*has not won a worlt title.
Both Darling Jimenez and Marcos Ramirez are good fighters, they are just badly promoted. Neither one has fought again since their losses to Gamboa.
Don't play the A fighter is better than B fighter because he beat C fighter who previously knocked out fighter B Game....It doesn't work that way.
Gamboa's defense has improved...haven't you guys noticed it? He's now more patient than before... He doesn't have a weak chin like many people say. and he's not fighting bums, Juanma is!
Only time will tell, but I'm sure Gamboa will be on the p4p list, he might not make it to No.1 but he'll sure be top 10.
Remember I said this.
You guys have it all wrong! Gamboa will beat Juan Manuel Lopez, it will be the first loss of his career.
Take a closer look, Gamboa does not have a weak chin, he's been down a couple of times but it's due to the way he fights. Juanma doesn't fight that way, and if they meet...remember this....Juanma will get KO'd. And then everyone is gonna start saying that Juanma was overrated, blah blah....
It's only a matter of time, besides...Juanma fights dirty, he uses his elbow to pull down on his opponents necks and then throws an uppercut, so far he's been lucky the referees haven't said a thing about it but he does this in every fight!
Fight clean Juanma, clean!
OMG, you guys are so easy to lie to. Don't believe everything you read.
This is being pushed by Rigondeaux's manager Gary Hyde, he's trying to make Rigondeaux look bad because he knows his contract will be over next month, this is simply a desperate move on his part.
Rigondeaux will fight in November and is currently training in Key West, Florida for his next fight, he can't wait for his contract with Gary Hyde to be over next month and blames him for most of his inactivity.
There was never a serious talk with Lomachenko or a plan of action that Rigo was aware of, this is all BS coming from Gary Hyde.
HBO has a date set for Lomachenko for November, Rigo is also training to fight in November but as of right now he doesn't know his opponent yet.
If they ever fight Lomachenko will have all the advantage over Rigondeaux, he'll be heavier, stronger and also younger too. Lomachenko has fought at 130lbs most of his life, he is naturally bigger than Rigo who as we speak weights 122lbs, 2 months away from his next fight.
I'll let Rigo know this guy Rico is still talking trash about him, last time Rico said Rigo wasn't all that because they did a sparring session and he wasn't impressed? Come on... a sparring session?
Ramos won't live to see the 8th round.
Juanma won't get past Luevano, he's too slow, static, I used to think he had power but now I dont.
Gamboa will first ko Mtagwa and then Luevano, because Juanma won't be able to beat him.
