yes he has a better resume but was his road to stardom(what you said) tougher? no it was not. you also didn't dispute how he received special treatment in the super six because its indisputable that he had every fight in his favor. that's an example of how not tough his road was. ggg had to move to a completely different country and impress the networks and fans. you think if ward was from kazakhstan and fought his boring grab style the american networks would want him? lol!
I simply did not dispute the super six "special threatment" you are implying becuase is just as simple as comparing their resumes.... Ward has been matched against guys that could have beat him, GGG has been matched against guys HE WAS SUPPOSED TO KO. Again, that is self-explanatory.
Boxingscene P4P List
#3 Andre Ward >>>> #4 Gennady Golovkin
GGG fans know Andre is the real threat... that is why they refuse to entertain that fight as true boxing fans... Ps: I like GGG but I am not a fan YET, until he proves hmself with better opposition
well ward never made it to stardom but your point is wrong anyway. american networks were showing ward before he even became champ. were they showing ggg before ggg became champ? no. no they were not. the entire super six tournament was setup in ward's favor. froch had to fight in 4 different countries...ward 1! they groomed ward for stardom and once he got to the top he turned his back on them and demanded easy fights for big money. meanwhile in order for ggg to get noticed he had to be so impressive that the networks wanted him. ggg had to be not only good but entertaining. ward had the hometown advantage quite literally throughout his career. ggg had to start at zero and create a fanbase from nothing. ward was given a platform as soon as he turned pro and he squandered that cushy platform.
Ward had to beat Edison Miranda, Mike Kessler, Allan Green, Sakio Bika, Arthur Abraham, Carl Froch and Chad Dawson.....
GGG had to beat Gabe Rosado (moved up from 154), Proksa? (who is that?), Curtis Stevens (who lost against Marcos Primera, Andre Dirrel and N'DAM), Rubio (who is never been an elite fighter), Lemuex (who's best win is N'DAM)
Again WARD's road to stardom has been WAY MORE DIFFICULT than GGG's streak of kos, BRO! Thats is not disputable, its self-explanatory
Oh come on man...
Edison Miranda WAS a real contender back when Andre Ward fought him. Real punching power
Allan Green is the same level of opponents GGG has been fighting...
"Oh, Come on man"
I wasted 28:19 mins of my life! watching this video... Who the heck is that guy on the video??? Never heard of him and he is clearly a GGG fan boy...
Ward has had a tougher road to stardom than GGG!!! That is not disputable.... shaking my head
That video is completely :bsflag:
Miranda had lost 3 times before Ward, two of which were stoppages. Has gone on to do **** all since losing to Ward. Green had a previous loss, which I admit doesn't necessarily mean much, even though it was Miranda. All he was known for was his KO of Codrington. Doesn't have a significant win on his resume. Went on to lose 3 more, two of which were stoppages. Has also done **** all since Ward. Again, nothing special about those wins.
Miranda was 32-3, 28Kos when he fought Ward. (Better resume than Lemiuex at the time) (Lemiuex is GGG best win) Miranda lost 3 times against Arthur Abraham (twice, one by UD, and next by TKO) and Kelly Pavlik (Both elite fighters), Lemiuex lost twice agaisnt who?? Marco Rubio, Joachin Alcine??? Nobody knows about them, right?? hahaha...
Nothing special about wins against Proksa, Rosado (coming from 154), stevens , Macklin, Lemiuex, Rubio, Monroe etc.... I dont remember any of them being elite fighters) (even Lemiuex who was a champion)

BS Scene management, can we combine the daily salty DLH quotes with the daily "Mayweather and/or Pacquiao are ducking me" quotes from amir into one "article" ?
X2 :haha::haha:
dumb decision. he got a defensive trainer and he is an offensive fighter. like hatton hiring sr. this is very stupid.
he's probably doing it for the money. sr. talks a lot so it will help for the publicity
X2 I agree :nonono:
Didn't you just say Canelo needed to lose 7 pounds in 5 days. And still you try to insult people.
We all make mistakes.
You love to clown, but what you never say is either of those frauds, Canelo or Cotto, can beat GGG.
They want to be MW champs, but they're literally trying anything they can to avoid him.
Talk all you want, but if you have half a brain you know them boys are scared.
^^^Dude, whenever I see your profile name... I skip to the next post :lol1:
(basically, I know not to waste time reading your same TripleGay hype loving stories)
just enjoy the show, bro.... One of this days Gennady will get to the BIG LEAGUES and I will be a fan....(JUST NOT YET, UNLESS HE FACES A CLASS OPPONENTS FROM NOW ON)
I am one of the few boxing fans here that can say "I agree with this Catchweights demands from Canelo/Cotto to GGG".... YES I SAID IT!!! I Agree with the CW's!!!. Why? Just becuase, (PLEASE READ).... Cotto was subject to Catchweight demands from Pacquiao and had to accept just to get that HUGE MONEY FIGHT!!!(Cotto WAS the b-side against Manny).... Canelo has also been subject to Catchweghts by Floyd and had to accept the catchweight to get a HUGE Payday also (Canelo was the B-side). Everyone knows what happened to both Canelo and Cotto in those fights, THEY BOTH LOST AND OBVIOUSLY BOTH WERE AFFECTED BY DRAINING THOSE EXTRA POUNDS!!! The difference between GGG (B-side against Cotto/Canelo) and Cotto/Canelo back then is that both were already PPV Star fighters and still had to accept CW from Manny/Floyd. GGG at this moment is not a PPV Star nor brings money to Cotto's or Canelo's the negotiating table. GGG at this moment only brings the "media hype", a mandatory status and 100k PPV buys for a Half Price show. Now, everyone, think about what Cotto/Canelo had been through to reach to their stardom level and compare it to what GGG had been through. Not even remotely close when comparing. GGG should make the same sacrifices at least ONCE to get a big money fight or he can go back to fighting "John Does" on HBO for a few cents. GGG resume is in desperate needs of a "brand" opponent name and they said "154-168" anyone can get it. There should be no excuse either way from GGG's camp. (Thanks for reading)
Bradley was more afraid of Atlas than Rios!
So true, Bradley looked like "I betta KO this bum before Teddy gets really mad and spits on my face again"
Teddy was "making it rain" on Bradley.... All that saliva almost got on the camera too
"we're firemen, we're not afraid of the fire" ---- Teddy
Epic stuff
Cotto Haters please stand up!!! lol
Hey, I am a Cotto Fan, but this "assesment" is going to be %100 neutral.
-Al Bernstein has never been in a ring as a fighter. (That is huge a credential in my book)
-Bernstein states " I THINK Canelo prob will win becuase COTTO IS AN ATTACKER NOW...." That is very a innacurate assesment,:
1-Cotto agaisnt Delvin was attacking pretty much all the time (straight forward attack) (Yes, Bernstein, Cotto was an attacker in this fight)
2-Against Martinez he basically moved, used angles to connect his POWER PUNCHES AND COMBINATIONS, he Counterpunched and outboxed Martinez (disable legs or not) (NOT AN ATTACKER ONLY, Very Versatile attack game plan)
3-Cotto basically Outboxed and Counterpunched Geale until he connected very solid shots, then he SWITCHED TO AN "ATTACKER"
I have to disagree with Bernstein's perception that Cotto's new style is an "attacker" like just straightforward attack while blocking punches. Cotto has looked much more "mobil" in the ring, dancing on his feet, looking for angles while trying to "penetrate" (no homo, lol) the opponent's defense with power combinations.... Cotto's boxing skills are comparable to any great boxer out there. He is DEFINITELY MORE than just an "attacker"
Mr Bernstein please go back to hiding in a corner. I would like to hear what you say after NOV 21. :boxing:
With all honesty, Canelo is looking good and I did noticed the hand speed. (not impressed since is just a training session) However, Cotto has more tricks in his bag and will be faster than Canelo on fight night.
#MayTheBestManWin

and May the fight be close for it to warrant an immediate rematch
(GGG fan boyz will be EVEN more butt-hurt IF that happens) :beerchug::wave:
The numbers for Mosley are not accurate if I remember right. Also, don't forget Jennings which did 100-150. For a so called 'star' coming off his biggest fight doing 100-150k. :lol1:
^^^ Look at this retarded poster!! :haha:
Michael Jennings was the FIRST fight AFTER his LOSS to MargaCheato/Plasterito!! Dumb Azz!! You dont know Zhittt about boxing.....
:slap:
60,000 though!
Come on, you make excuses once I proved you wrong. Just stop it.
60k for a Top Rank Closed Circuit PPV that was distributed mainly in Puerto Rico by Direct TV ONLY was a huge success. It was a clear indication that Cotto was a PPV draw. Now, Compare that to an HBO PPV distributed WORLDWIDE with Chocolatito on the undercard. Doing 97k PPV!!! It is a clear indication that GGG IS NOT THERE YET!!!! :bottle:
GGG good boy tho!! :lol1:
`
Actually if you had any intelligence at all you'd know that what they found on that pad were minute traces of calcium & sulphur. Both of which are ingredients of HUMAN SWEAT!!!!. What an evil man Margarito was for sweating ROFLMAO
Cowardly Cotto couldn't beat a Margarito who fought 8 rounds with only one good eye. He had to rely on a crooked NY doc to save him the embarrassment of QUITTING ON HIS KNEES AGAIN!!!!!!!! ROFLMAO
Stop it, retard!!!
I will direct you to the most basic website to improve your knowledge about SWEAT. (A lil kids learning website)
http://kidshealth.org/kid/talk/yucky/sweat.html
Calcium and Sulphur is not usually found in sweat, (just TINY traces of AMONIA, SALTS AND SUGARS)
“I observed what appeared to be a blood stain on the corner of the pad. I also noticed that it was moist and dirty-looking. The pad had the appearance that it had been used before. After looking at the pad closer, I could see a white substance smeared across the face of the pad and into the gauze. I touched the white substance, and it was hard to touch. It looked like a cast plaster or maybe a thicker type of white out that you would put on paper" - Mike Bray (NSAC INSPECTOR)
(they used an already used hand wrap, it had a stain)

Case Closed.... Margacheato is a disgrace to Mexico. Why Lie?
Win all the belts and then everything at MW has to go through GGG in the coming years Bingo! That's the plan and it will work because if ANYBODY wants a major MW title, all roads go thru Golovkinville
With all due respect, If that is what they think, that is one big stupid plan from GGG's team.
-GGG is almost 34 yrs old and has YET to face one "A-LIST" opponent
- Having all the belts in the MW division does not mean GGG will be able to make HUGE money, instead it keeps GGG in the same level of stardom (not a PPV star) and he would still be fighting the same level of opponents he has been fighting
-MW division is lacking of PPV worthy fighters unless their plan is to fight on FREE HBO from now on. (I have no problem with that)
Let see what happens, I wish GGG the best
Both are overated c plus fighters.
Always have been.
But this fight between the two nations should be a solid one.
Look at this "keyboard" bum!! :haha:
:bryce:
-Khan would be B-side to a Danny Garcia rematch, specially in NYC Barclay's center.
-Khan would be B-side agaisnt a rematch with Maidana (even though that will never happen since Maidana is a heavyweight now)
-Khan SHOULD be B-side against Thurman, Porter, even Broner....
-I think Kell Brook is more relevant at this moment (he is the champ) but for that fight to be made Khan would have to be A-Side.
-Khan would loose to any of the fighters mention above, except to Broner and maybe Porter....
Martinez barely squeaked by Salida so I wouldn't brag about that. Without his hometown judges in his pocket skeleter wouldn't have won.
I am not bragging, is more like a retaliation for what Salido is saying....
Rocky won the 1st fight CLEARLY
Second fight was closer but I still had Rocky winning IF NOT DUE to the poor officiating calling a KD when it WASNT KD it was CLEARLY a slip....
3rd Fight unless is in Mexico and Salida gets drug tested... Rocky will win AGAIN
