i asked two filipinos at work today if they wanted to bet on the fight, they both said no, fukin pussies.
shut the fuuck up u don't work. quit making stories about having a life.
lmao
marquez whooped his ass and got robbed, the pinoys are the only ones that think john beat him, these retards are discrediting marquez and by doing that they are discrediting pacquiaos opponents, fukin morons.
juarez would beat the fuk out of chris john, protected little bitch dont want to fight somebody good anymore cause he got whooped already
Chris John UD12 Juan Manuel Marquez
By Scott Mallon
Borneo, Indonesia – Unbeaten Chris “Dragon” John (38-0, 20 KOs), Semarang, Indonesia, successfully defended his WBA featherweight title for the fifth time when he scored a surprising, unanimous decision over former champion Juan Manuel Marquez in Borneo, Indonesia. Marquez (44-3-1, 33 KOs) had taken the fight for a purse of only $31,250 in an effort to snare the WBA title only to come up short on the score cards, 116-112, 116-110 and 117-111.
The Sweet Science saw it in favor of John at 116-110.

....
Scott Mallon was the only westerner who ever saw that fight LIVE at ringside. He scored that fight in favour of Chris John.
Styles makes fights.
JMM being a counterpuncher always had problems with slick boxers who won't engage. Norwood, Gainer, and Chris John.
Wrong names to compare with the group of Duran, Hagler, Hearns and Leonard.
This generation's version of the Fab Four are-->> Barrera, Morales, Pacquiao, and Marquez.
mancini and pryor are not nobodies.
we'll see. i might change my mind about this matchup when manny's career is done.
right now , i'll go with alexis.
i know. they were great fighters.
i guess we'll just have to agree, to disagree.
Alexis will have difficulty adjusting against Pac's southpaw stance, speed of movement.. quickness of hands and feet, relentless aggression, and power.
Pac stops Alexis.
Alexis Arguello was notoriously slow, and had difficulties with southpaws. Andy Ganigan was battering him with lefts before catching him coming in the middle rounds.
He couldn't adjust to the speed, and in-your-face agression of the smaller dynamo Aaron Pryor. The Hawk just overwhelmed him with a barrage of punches from all angles.
That said, Pacquiao decapitates Alexis Arguello in the early rounds. Pac's speed and power will be too much for him to handle.
i've only seen alexis lose by tko (against pryor).
i know he's lost by ko before but i've never seen that fight. it was when he was still young at 126 and the fight was in nicaragua.
all those fights at 126 , 130 , 135 and 140......it's pretty safe to say alexis has a good chin. it's not like pryor knocked him the hell out with one punch.
will pac be able to take arguello's punch?
your hawaiian homie Ganigan clocked him good in the 1st rd.
he had trouble with ray mancini's aggression, aaron pryor's...
will pac be able to take his shots? i really don't know. it took him 14 rds. of battering to dispose off come forward fighter boom boom mancini
pac will batter him with his quick in-and-out assault, he's too slow for pac.
shorter maybe but not smaller.
alexis was a twig.
besides......it's not like pryor dominated alexis. would manny be able to handle the shots that pryor took from alexis?
Question is, will he be able to land a clean shot? will Alexis be able to keep Pac off of him? will he be able to take his shots?
Like I said, he was slow.
Yea, impressive KO power. plus, he's got quick hands, and slick for a cruiserweight. oh.. gee, he just totally f$cked up Monte Barrett who was pulling the "i'm gonna send you back to cruiser.." talk
he may not stop Vitali, but he sure got the tools to beat him on a wide decision.
when Pac first fought JMM, and although he just beat the sh!t out of Barrera @126, i still thought of him more like a 'natural super bantam'
when he first fought Erik, i saw him more as a 'natural featherweight'
against Oscar, he was more like a 'natural lightweight', at best
thing is - he keeps on jumping weight classes.
looking back, SRL, Duran, Hearns have done the same. i've given up on this speculative "natural weight" thingy
floyd beats pacquiao, no problem (unless of course he also decides to throw the fight)
juan diaz will destroy pac, joan guzman embarrasses pac, jmm been schooling pac, campbell can beat pac as well. i love pac just as much as the next person, but the top LW all pose a serious threat to manny, on paper at least.
i don't believe in all these speculation sh#t anymore
:bottle:
I heard Wlad banged over 7 women in a matter of two days, but hes married now so who knows

Freakish stopping power. That's the only good point that I see in Valero.
Boxing skills? Below average.
Defense? Poor.
Quality of opposition? Poor.
Chin? still untested.
that's the plain truth of the matter.
He himself is REAL Bitter and disapointed with his career, read an interview just a couple of months back, bitter man like! Hates Hagler!
He was ignored by the Fab Four, like he didn't exist. consequently, he's been left out of the loop of the big money fights.
McCallum was regarded back then as a high-risk/low-reward fight.
I'd like to see that punching power to the test against a top contender though.
Is it really that he has that much power or the opposition he facing?
i guess with the opposition he's faced.
watch the Mosquera fight.
Mosquera ate clean shots all night.. downed twice in the 1st, gets up each time, and fires back to return a KD on Valero on the 3rd...
it took Valero 7 more rounds of non-stop powerpunching before finally stopping the sturdy former WBA 130-lb. champ..
an entertaining pub brawl, a no defense macho slugfest lol :D..
Valero was previously on a 19W/19KO, 18 by 1st round KO, streak vs. tomato cans
only JMM, with his movement, was able to nullify Pac's right hand.
@122 and 126, Pac was winging bombs from both hands. watch the Ledwaba, Julio, Barrera vdos again
the pocket rocket's best days were @118. pac murders him @122.
Pac was a monster at 122. 1-dimensional, yes, but he was relentless and just rolled over the opposition with his size and power.
People seems to forget that Ledwaba was a fine boxer. But, he wasn't able to keep Pac off of him with his crisp jabs and movement.
I reckon Pac stops Zaragoza in the late rounds.
The Vasquez who beat Marquez twice vs the Pacquiao who beat Ledwaba, Julio, hussein, and lucero.
Discuss.
I think Vasquez wins a decision 8-4
Izzy was Manny's walking punching bag in the gym, always comes forward to be hit.. Pac always looked good whenever Vazquez was his sparring partner.
good result - Pac TKO11 Barrera.
