This is just oscar trying to put pressure on haymon. He also tweeted thurman v brook...quillin v golovkin..maidana v pacquiao. We'll still get one of these guys versus josesito lopez
Ive heard about this fight...is there an article or something that says their in talks? Anyway I don't think Devon has enough power to keep Khan from ambushing him all night...too fast
Sorry to rain on the thread but as far as Lopez his manager/trainer already denied Spence rumors on twitter...said they had 3 names given by haymon and none were Errol Spence
The second fight made me appreciate the first fight more. He looked more sharp and relaxed the first fight. The second fight he easily won but his footwork looked sloppy and uncomfortable. He looked different, falling often and getting caught. Def gotten old
Basically what it is is the fact that we want to believe our favorite athletes are disciplined, stay within 10 lbs of their fight weight, dont use peds etc. Khan never missed making weight he just becomes a fat 711 cashier in between fights thats all
L O L. Its the same 2 people on this forum that are trying to convince people this is a good fight even tho its a crap mismatch. All those muscles didnt help bradley, all that reach and jab didnt stop ruslan from making algieri do a somersault in the ring. You just fought on espn 7 months ago you have no reason to be in the ring w Manny
I'll give them props, they cheered well and loud, made the numbers seem twice as large. UK fans in general can really liven an atmosphere.
Bro I thought there were thousands of Pakistanis there at first
It sounded like 50 people but when they turned the camera it was only maybe 13 of them LMFAO but hey that is better than NONE. Didn't see any Algieri Fans and he is fighting in his Country and his Back Yard Technically
So much for the algieri bring more than brook excuse
It's stuff like this that makes me dislike Khan. He is supposed to be Pacquiao's friend but he constantly trashes him in the media. I don't believe he ever got the best of Pacquiao. What I believe is he thought he beat up Pacquiao when Pacquiao got the best of him and took it easy on him. Khan is fighting the same guy Pacquiao recently knocked down 6 times and beat by a score of 120 to 103. Since Algieri is coming off a beating he should be a lesser fighter against Khan than he was against Pacquiao. Getting the hell beat out of him doesn't figure to make Algieri anything but worse. So if Khan can't do as good or better than Pacquiao did against Algieri it makes his statements of being a much better fighter than Pacquiao look like total BS. I hope Algieri kicks Khan's ass but he probably won't because Algieri is just not very good. That's why chicken Khan cherry picked him.
Step down from hard hitting alexander lol
Lopez is a HELL of a fighter.. did you see the way he beat Ortiz? That's one of the best fights I've seen for a long time.. Go watch that if you haven't seen it, Lopez BROKE ORTIZ JAW!!! He's the reason Ortiz is pretty much washed up as a fighter because everytime he gets hit on the jaw now he'll get stopped. Ortiz career was pretty much killed by Lopez - he is one tough as nails fighter.
Khan vs Lopez is a great fight and each fighter has a chance to win. If Khan gets caught up in a brawl he could lose to Lopez, he will need all his discipline and control to win this fight.
Damn, is Khan vs Lopez even a BETTER fight than Khan vs Guerrero?? Woah, boxing is getting too good to be true!
Lmao...Brah
Nice to see something different. Except for that scene where max is trying to convince himself and the viewers "hey algieri deserves this! He earned it he earned it"" .....no its still not a deserving opponent
This ppv doing so bad is good for everyone. Stop being a fanboy for a second and realize these two getting low ppv leads to forcing better fights for them
We still don't know what the Maidana 1 and 2 numbers are. Espinoza refrained from releasing any official number. It's obvious they flopped just like the Guerrero fight. They could be as low as 300K, which is still good if you compare it with UFC numbers.
Well this is the guy everybody cites as it doing 830k so dont pretend he doesn't matter now
I've been waiting for Glaser to tweet something that reflected poorly of Pac in some way. I just wanted to laugh about how he instantly goes from the most credible man on the internet to a nobody :lol1:
I am not disappointed.
All of a sudden he doesn't matter....but go find the maidana 2 ppv buys thread and he is the be all end all of boxing
Unless you are concerned about their personal wealth which would make you a foolish, bafoon.
To try and talk down upon another fighter because his PPV sales arent up to par with another fighter. Rock on with that dumb ass logic. This is boxing, not a presidential vote.
Plenty of great selling PPV fights were duds. Trash! And the two boxers robbing you (us) of are hard earned money laughed all the way to the bank.
Think about that next time you wanna go full blown retard on us.:nono:
Ooooo so now they dont matter but if pac algieri did more than the maidana fight it would be a field day
Algieri has a 40%KO ratio, never fought about 140, fought on espn THIS year, and arguably lost his last fight. Spin it all you want this is a disappointment for pacquiao. He was asked by bob and approved of the fight so there is no excuse
