It took what... 2 weeks for the canelo numbers. I'm just in doubt of both these because both were out within a week
He talked about the canelo number being correct too but his calling bull **** on the numbers Iole reported last week. Basically saying Espinoza is trying to pull the wool over the eyes of executives at showtime.
Rick on an interview on leave it in the ring radio stated he'll know the exact numbers come Tuesday. He seems to be plugged in what's going on with the sport.

Both should be taken with a grain of salt because how are we getting numbers this fast?

It can't be 925,000 because it's too soon to have a count, so Iole was wrong in reporting that on twitter. It's under 700,000 because Rick Glaser said so on twitter. NSB logic.

It's funny... Arum says Pacquiao-Bradley II did 750-800K, HBO confirms this number. Obviously Arum is bullsh*tting.
Espinoza says he won't be releasing PPV numbers any more. A couple of days after the fight who knows tells reporters the fight did 925K (with several sources calling b.s. on that) and Showtime declines comment when asked to confirm.
Obviously who knows (seriously, does anyone know who the 925K is coming from exactly?) is telling the truth :lol1:

No one could possibly take Rick Glaser seriously.hes always wrong when it comes to ppv
700K isn't bad at all. Same as Pac/Bradley. It would've been close to a million with a better undercard.
Doubt it. Arum said undercard doesn't matter and he's right. Casuals barely know any boxers as is they're not gonna buy it for some less popular champ on the undercard
No one could possibly take Rick Glaser seriously.
Why not? He's been breaking news that other Boxing scribes don't until after the fact lately. He was the one who called the Schaefer being ousted at Golden Boy thing weeks before it happened. He obviously has a well-placed source(s) at Golden Boy.
Ok so you are going to believe the low number but completely ignore the high number?? why would anyone take you seriously?
the truth is always somewhere in the middle
There you go. This source says it didn't even reach 700K.

ESPN Deportes is reporting that the fight didn't even reach 700,000 buys.

It's very unusual. I remember Schaefer when pressed about the numbers in the Guerrero fight he finally admitted that results can take months, even years. And I'm still looking for that article.
Fact that Espinoza announced just recently that they won't be releasing numbers makes all these early numbers suspect.
It can indeed take months for the EXACT number of buys and the revenue to come in from all the different cable distributors, but if you have sources at Comcast, Time Warner, Directv, etc you can get enough data to make a reasonable projection (+/- 25k-50k buys) even without any info coming directly from Showtime...........

Never knew he'd say that
All these numbers a week after the fight

ya'll see my point...somehow when a good number is reported by a know site it is a lie...but whoever the hell Rick Glassner who always has something negative to say about Floyd these posters run with it
They don't even need Rick Glaser, whenever they hear something they don't like the same ten or so posters just declare it false and think they can circle jerk their idiocy into a fact.
