J. Lopez trainer says Khan-Guerrero 100% not happening

Two people close to khans camp in SF who are his good friends have said that Lopez aint even in contention, so I am not sure why he keeps on getting mentioned. Its going to be Guerrero because both Oscar and Espinoza have backed it and Khan wants it so it may be that Guerrero doesn't want it.

I dont know why any of you thought Khan vs Guerrero was legit. Khan will not make a decision until Floyd does. If Floyd doesn't fight Khan, Lopez is a hell of a fight!!!Even bettter would be Khan vs Broner. He's already called him out but Broner wants no part of that fight. Unless Khan is laying off until May, khan has to pick an opponent soon for his next fight as he's up next.

Smh, Khan better fight a credible opponent if he wants to fight Mayweather next May. He wont because he will get beat , he wants a soft ride too Floyd the same way Manny is going about it , neither will fight a hungry top class WW .

Khan is being protected, they paid Collazo off. After the fight, he says he just couldn't get his punches off. They will keep Khan on the path of least resistance.

What does this thread have to do with Pacquiao? it's relevant because both khan and pacquiao are facing garbage opponents. there are pact@rds in this thread comparing this fight to other fighters/fights that have nothing to khan-lopez. i was just making my own comparisons.

if khan fights lopez that would only be a step above pacquiao-algieri, which is about as low as you can go as far as crappy fights. pacquiao is known for putting crap fights against weak opponents and it looks like khan is trying to follow pacquiao's blueprint. Lopez is a HELL of a fighter.. did you see the way he beat Ortiz? That's one of the best fights I've seen for a long time.. Go watch that if you haven't seen it, Lopez BROKE ORTIZ JAW!!! He's the reason Ortiz is pretty much washed up as a fighter because everytime he gets hit on the jaw now he'll get stopped. Ortiz career was pretty much killed by Lopez - he is one tough as nails fighter. Khan vs Lopez is a great fight and each fighter has a chance to win. If Khan gets caught up in a brawl he could lose to Lopez, he will need all his discipline and control to win this fight. Damn, is Khan vs Lopez even a BETTER fight than Khan vs Guerrero?? Why settle for being complacent and accept sh1tty fights? Yes a true fan of the sport wouldnt just sit around getting handed **** and smile about it. Haymon is putting on mismatches left and right and if fans like you are just ok with it we will never see the fights we want to see. I like Lopez and he comes to fight so no issue with it.
