Easy UD for Khan. Styles make fights. Khan all wrong for Maidanna Doubt it. Maidana not only has Roberto Garcia in his corner but he also has two fights with Mayweather under his belt and one fight with Broner. He'd destroy Khan at this point.

Maidana by mid round KO! Khan has good speed but his coordination is laughable. Maidana is much more disciplined, committed and focused under Granpa Garcia. Khan would not go the distance. I hope this fight is made. I'm tired of seeing meaningless fights in the Welterweight Division. I want to see Swift Garcia vs. Maidana or Thurman. Or Kell Brook against Khan, Maidana or Thurman. How about Tim Bradley vs any of those guys? As a boxing fan I'm tired of seeing weak fights in the Welterweight Division. I think another interesting fight would be Swift vs. Broner.

Since Zab Judah floyd has not fought a fighter that is considered to be quick and has handspeed. Throughout his career he keeps on picking on the same type of fighters. Fighters who can hit hard and that come forward. Its about time floyd picks a different type of fighter and prove that he can adapt to any style in the ring as he says. And what did Floyd do to Zab Judah? Also, give me a non flat footed guy that's better than JMM and Canelo over the last 4 years. And if you say Pac. All I'll say is JMM. So please list the fighters that are not flat footed that Floyd ducked. Thank you.

That's why Floyd is undefeated and manny has a few L's... Matchmaking... Both guys have a preferred style to fight... Manny never had an O to product so he could be alittle more risky in matchmaking Floyd has been one of the fastest boxers in the sport since the 90s. It's not easy to find someone to match his speed. The closest were Mosley and Judah. You would have to go back to Prime or young Roy Jones to find someone who can match Floyd's prime speed. Hopefully the Pac fight will be materialized soon. Somehow that fight still has big interest.

Both fight pretty well from the outside. They both like to mix it up on the inside but get incredibly wild. Add Pac to the Thurman/Khan list in regards to having loose defense. That is why Khan and Pacquiao have been STOPPED by more patient and disciplined fighters. Thurman just hasn't been tested yet. But his time is coming. If Thurman fights Brooks, I'm predicting he gets stopped. Floyd would beat all these guys because they are not technically sound. Robert Garcia has worked with Maidana a lot and made him a much more technically sound fighter. He rarely smothers his own punches like Khan and Thurman. I'd love to see this edition of Maidana vs Khan or Thurman. Hell, I'd like to see this version of Maidana square off with Pac.

Thurman is far more selective than Khan when it comes to picking his spots and changing his arsenal of punches, even changing speed, on top of that you will never see Thurman finishing off a combination whilst off balance or squaring up the way Khan does. I admit though, I do see instances where Thurman looks vulnerable especially to a good counter puncher but his ability to regroup, roll shots and pull out separate him from reckless fighters like Khan. Agreed on Thurman being a bit more selective than Khan. I think a fighter like JMM would be a nightmare for Thurman. I just don't know what JMM has left.

I believe Khan and Pacman are skilled fighters , we might have different opinion on what a skilled fighter is. They do have skills. I think a better description would be technically sound. Thurman nor Khan seem very technically sound. They do things that are not taught and they lack certain fundamentals (in-fighting, defense, etc..).

Floyd struggled against Zab for the first half of the fight and got dropped, then took over when Zab gassed out as usual. And they don't have to be better fighters than Marquez and Canelo to give Floyd a good fight. Marquez and Canelo are better fighters than Maidana yet Maidana gave Floyd a much tougher fight (twice) than either of those guy. Pac, Khan, Lara and even Thurman would give Floyd a hard time because they have good footwork and speed. With the exception of Pac, who would want to see Floyd vs. Lara/Khan? Thurman is the new Lucas Matthyse. Another unproved power puncher that is being overhyped. And Floyd did not get dropped by Zab. Officially or unofficially. If you look at it in slow motion you'll see that their feet got tangled. The only fighters to wobble or hurt Floyd were DeMarcus Corley, Shane Mosley and Maidana.

I mean he hasn't even fought a fast fighter in last 10 years. Just have a look at some of his last opponents, Cotto,Ortiz,Guerrero,Canelo,Maidana,Maidana2 tho all are respectable fighters but 1 thing is common on all of them, they all lack lateral movement and speed and are flat footed. Last time Mayweather fought a fast fighter was Zab Judah and in that fight he lost first 4 rounds and his 'gloves touched the canvas' after that he's not been in the ring with anyone fast or someone who could move. I think he was really affected by the aftermath of the Abraham fight. His Super 6 experience was so unlucky. He outboxes Froch in enemy territory but doesn't get the decision, he clearly won that fight IMO. Next as he is outboxing the tournament favorite in the 2nd fight (even dropped him), it again ends in a very unsatisfying manner. Then instead of getting credit for the performance, everybody focuses on whether he did or didn't fake the effects of an illegal blow. If you think about it, if he got the decision vs. Froch that he deserved and Abraham didn't hit him after he fell to the canvas, he would have been an undefeated WBC SMW champion with clear decision victories over Arthur Abraham, Carl Froch, and even Curtis Stevens. But we all know what happened instead. He ducks Andre Ward, exits the Super 6, dumps Al Haymon, and signs with 50 Cent. That would ruin anybody's career. The same people who know Floyd know who Manny is, but the difference is in the UK Floyd is more loved than Manny. I'm basically trying to say that, Floyd doesn't like fighting fighters with speed and movement.
