It'll actually be easier this time around for Khan
He will not take risks, in and out, do what he did in the first fight, but with more clinching ala Devon, more shots to the body, possibly stop Maidana
Maidana will be frustrated
Unlike Floyd, Khan doesnt stand still, he keeps moving
you mean he turns his back and runs away? :lol1: khan is shot, face it. it wasn't easy the first time, and it wouldn't be easy at all the second time, but it won't happen since khan is to busy fighting chino's left over in december :lol1:

Maidana has improved tremendously and Khan seems to have gone downhill in the last few years. Maidana might have won the first fight with a less bias referee. In a rematch Maidana would win by KO within a few rounds in my opinion.
Same outcome. Close but clear win for Khan with some chinny moments in between.
Also, I believe Khans chin is better at 147. Dudes a fatass in between fights.
Close but clear win??? :smashfrea I think they are two different things.
I'd go with Maidana, jabs more, gets low, counters better. Khan doesn't take punches well, not as well as he used to, not that he's ever been able to either.
I'd favor Maidana now. Didn't Maidana have Khan hurt and hanging on the first fight in the later rounds?
I could see something like Khan vs Garcia going down.
Yes. Khan fans have selective memory. If any other top fighter from today's era would have been put to sleep by Prescott and Garcia, and seriously hurt by a bunch of others, he would have no appeal left.
But Khan is fun!
Khans new defensive arsenal?
haha "arsenal"
He was in serious trouble against Diaz and Collazo hurt him. If no one picked to win is not because he beat monsters, but because that's how low people think of Khan these days.
He essentially hugs and clinches his way. Chino would sky hook him and end him. Khan's chin is shot
I think it'd go pretty much the same. The only question is whether Khan hangs on when hurt again or if Maidana finishes the job the second time around.
Same outcome!
12:06 was the punch that won Khan the fight, made Maidana respect his punch and also stopped him coming forward like a bull he is.
Problem was Floyd could not hurt Maidana and that was the problem, same with Broner apart from one of the last rounds were he did hurt Maidana and stopped him in the tracks but at that time it was too late.

Khan wins easy. Possibly by first minute KO.
Maidana's already lost twice to Floyd and when you lose to Floyd, you are permanently damaged goods and incapable of being effective ever again
Both completely different fighters - Maidana has dramatically improved and Khan has declined.
Do you think the result would be the same?
I totally agree with your assessment!!! And if these two were to fight again, I have no doubt that Maidana would win in a most convincing fashion. No question!!
maybe knocking someone out, not clinch him every two seconds. don't you think? that fight was impossible to watch, really frustrating. i know you were happy (like the rest of his fans) because he wasn't put on bamby legs like most of the time, but no one else enjoyed that fight.
lol no **** it was frustrating for you
lol how many times did collazo hit the canvas and If you think collazo didnt get destroyed then I dont know what destroying means to you bro

yes, so? khan's chin is so bad that is very difficult to pick in his favor. khan is not destroying anyone, he might clinch them to a UD, but not destroyed

the fact that he is fighting josesito lopez next, after collazo, after, diaz, after molina, makes me believe that he is shot. he refuses to take a real match
He is trying to play it safe til a Floyd fight...
Kan's beatable and another loss will kill all hope for a Floyd fight..
Once Floyd lands a Floyd fight, I think you will see him make all sorts of fights vs ghost, brook, Bradley, Maidana 2, etc... But until then, Amir is gonna be super conservative in matchmaking
