Eye Gouging is a flagrant foul and should not be tolerated. Even though with these new gloves its hard to do, the repeated attempt by Chaves was disgusting. I think this DQ was justified. Not a great night of boxing but good night of boxing. Here is the number #1 reason they matched canelo with floyd so soon. They will make Mayweather vs Canelo 2 as floyds last fight. I think Canelo handlers new it was too early for Canelo but they choose to do it anyways because they can make Floyd vs Canelo 2 down the road. I watched a boxing interview the other day that shows in the background Angel Heredia carrying a duffel bag into a restroom then Castillo following and entering the same restroom and closing the door behind them. Since When A Fight Stopped for Broken Nose? Garcia corner new there fighter was fading and called in doctors and ref to stop fight. You see Robert Garcia asking ref "we go to the cards right" then encourages for fight to be stopped. Pussy move if you ask me. I dont remember Marquez fight being stopped for broken nose.

I read they are trying to make Rios vs Alvarado 2 for March 2013 in Los Angeles. First fight was great and I wouldn't mind seeing it again but I was hoping they would go another route with Rios. I don't think #2 fight will be as good as the first, I think Alvarado will make adjustments and try to box Rios instead of brawling. I still see Rios coming out the W. What do do you guys think?

In no way am I trying to justify the decision that was made. I scored only 2 rounds to Rios. But I absolutely hate the fighting style that Abril has...ugly,messy,awkward,boring. If boxing was full(majority) of guys with the same fighting style/tactics as Abril would you be a fan of boxing? Yes or No?

I think the majority agree Rios clearly lost the fight tonight. Even though I don't like the fighting style of Abril he clearly beat Rios. Seriously there needs to be some sort of investigation to these judges, especially for this Glenn Trowbridge guy. This is the same guy that scored 116-112 for Pacquiao (Pac vs Marq 3). This guy seems to always favor Top Rank guys in these situations. Disclaimer: My opinion not facts ;)
