Mayweather Asking for 2/3 of Revenue for Pacquiao Fight

If this fight doesn't happen we know who to blame. Boxing's pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr. wants the biggest slice of the cake just to make the long discussed superfight with Manny Pacquiao see the light of day. The American boxer is reportedly seeking 2/3 of the revenue of the fight which includes gate receipts, fight purse and pay-per-view buys according to a report from Sports Illustrated. "With the buzz for a potential super fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao once again reaching a fever pitch, there continue to be indications that the finances of this anticipated showdown will be a significant obstacle. According to a source close to Mayweather, if a Pacquiao fight were to happen, Mayweather would need to receive close to two-thirds of the revenue,".

So basically, Floyd has to give Team Pacquiao whatever they themselves deem fair or it means he's scared and pricing himself out of the fight. No deal is good enough, my friend. Look at the Gossip Girls above you -- they will defend every Manny excuse.

Of course he wants that. I'm suprised he's not asking for 4/5's, or 9/10ths. He'll do anything to keep pricing himself out like he has been since 2009. Just so he and the flowmoes can say "Manny turned down the fight again." Rinse and repeat.
