The only reason Donaire gets hate is because he runs through everybody but doesn't have a well toned body (he doesn't do PEDs). Rigo has nice abs and is pretty cut but i wonder if people would like him if he had the body of Donaire. Everybody that's on the Rigo train is a (closet) homo.
I'm a big fan of Rigondeaux. Also a big fan of Donaire. Where does this place me? Rigairetard??
My bad, making generalizations is wrong. Should've said the majority of them. Of course there are always exceptions. But it just seems there's just a few in this case. It's partly your fault too, you need to speak up cause these idiot loudmouths are giving all Rigo fans a bad rep.
Yeah everybody in 'merica has it for Cunningham. Why ? Well maybe it's got something to do with Adamek being Polish. I'm pretty sure the majority of people in Poland scored the fight for Adamek.
The truth lies somewhere in between: it was a close fight.
Communist?
The Cubans fighting professional (Abril excepted) are defectors from the Revolution. Kinda similar to a majority of their supporters.
So how's that work out communist then?!
Jesus, why does it take idiot redneck types mere moments to descend into irrelevant "political" slanging matches in a debate about something unconnected?
I apologize, my response was stupid.
I just wish the mods wouldn't allow these kind of threads. Cubanborn has no source for his claims and is talking out of his butt.
I apologize again to anyone that i've offended by my inconsiderate remark.
I really can't wrap my head around how everybody is accepting this as fact when there's still no source.
I bet if Donaire doesn't say anything about this, everyone will just say he got shook and decided to find a different duck route.
I don't know why are the moderators allowing this
Still no source...
Rigo fans are scum. Communist mofos very good at making up stories and slandering. This is why i can't wait for Rigo (or any Cuban fighter) to get KO'd.
Looks like his head is not in it 100%. He's not the fighter he once was. He needs to take 1 fight per year for the next 2 or 3 years against over the hill fighters with names and then try to take one more shot at it.
Nah, Rigo ran so much it was ridiculuos. Donaire basically ran into his punches because he got frustrated at Rigo not fighting. Great strategy by Rigo! Yeah right, if Donaire wanted he could've fought like Rigo and won the fight easily but then there would've been maybe 3 shots thrown per round and maybe 1 landed. Face it Rigotards, Rigo came to run not to fight Donaire.
Garcia made hard work of beating an old Judah who hurt him late. This deserves a PFP spot?
The Judah that fought Garcia was probably the best Judah that ever came to fight and Danny still beat him convincingly.
:bryce:
Throwing a hard right non stop is P4P material to you lol, not to mention it was against a old shot judah who actually started beating up on Garcia in the later rounds.
All Garcia has is power
This is what i'm talking about. He kind of looks crude to an untrained eye but Danny has a lot of wrinkles in his game and does a lot of subtle things people don't pick up on. Not to mention he is mentally tough as they come. He's top 10 P4P no doubt in my mind.
Yeah i've got a feeling Donaire is legitimately pissed at Rigo and on fight night it could get really ugly for Rigo really fast. Donaire is the wrong dude to piss off.
Ya'll Filipino fans are some sore losers.
Manny gets KTFO, "JMM was cheating!!!"
Donaire gets schooled, "You call 1-2 punches schooling!?"
Hey Rigo beat Donaire fair and square but what the hell was that.. If Donaire fought like Rigo there would've been literally no punches landed. Donaire made that fight. Rigo's whole gameplan was to avoid fighting for 2 minutes and 55 seconds and then fight for 5 seconds of every round.
I see a lot of you are missing the point. If Donaire chose to fight like Rigo or if Rigo fought somebody who fought like him there would be no fight, there would be a dance contest instead.
You realize how much faster, and crisper Rigo was in every exchange? Rigo won EVERY exchange. That's why Donaire was forced to chase. He had to score points somehow.
Cmon man.. what exchanges? He exchanged once in every round and that was it, the rest of the "exchanges" were Donaire trying to fight while Rigo doing some nice legwork. In the 5 seconds of the round he decided to fight he would manage to hit Donaire who was getting so frustrated that he was willing to take a shot just to get a fight started. Rigo is really good, really good at avoiding a fight. I bet he's a real good dancer too.
