F*cking disgusting dude. At this age Cunningham did not need a setback like this. Not to mention it was his HW debut. Could've lead to much bigger things and the big payday that he needs like a Klitschko fight.
Cunnighams got no business in the ring with Wlad, sorry. Thankfully Cunnigham doesn't have to get knocked out by Pulev for that to be known now.
My 2nd article with MY scorecard is now on the fightscorecollector site http://fightscorecollector.blogspot.com
I have explained why i thought Cunningham won the fight and why Adamek should NOT have got that decision.
cheers for any comments
I think you're spot on. The rounds that Adamek won were when he stepped up his work rate. Had he fought like that all the time he would have won the fight.
But he only did it sporadically. The rest of the time he was getting nailed with clean jabs and right hands. Trying to be aggressive in the final seconds of the rounds to steal them shouldn't negate all the good that Cunningham was doing before then.

I feel bad for Cunningham not getting the nod. I lucked out on a personal level too as I placed a chunk of cash on Adamek to win and I was lucky to escape.
Hopefully Cunningham will have another opportunity to be on the big stage in some heavyweight bouts as this was actually a pretty good fight and he put on a great performance.
Well maybe it's got something to do with Adamek being Polish. I'm pretty sure the majority of people in Poland scored the fight for Adamek.
Artur Szpilka is Polish, isn't he? Yet he too thought Adamek lost.
Yeah everybody in 'merica has it for Cunningham. Why ? Well maybe it's got something to do with Adamek being Polish. I'm pretty sure the majority of people in Poland scored the fight for Adamek.
The truth lies somewhere in between: it was a close fight.
America isn't very nationalistic like a lot of other countries, it happens from time to time but generally we don't care where a fighter is from as long as he wins. Most people had Pac winning against Bradley, must be because pac is american right? Oh wait...

What??
Adamek is based out of New Jersey and Cunningham's fought nearly all of his high profile bouts in Europe. Adamek's also been on HBO multiple times and the Polish-American population on the east coast strongly support him and pack out the Prudential Center.
No one in the USA scored this bout as a USA v Poland/"Us Versus Them" fight. Adamek has more fans and is more well known in America than Cunningham.

"Jim, I gotta tell ya. The way that Adamek is coming forward and walking through those punches while not throwing any of his own is going to sway the judges. But i gotta ask, what is Steve doing in there? He's backing up from Adamek and expecting to win the fight on clean, effective punching. That's just not gonna get it done against a guy like Adamek who is walking forward. 9 rounds to 1 Adamek. JIM!"
   Too true!
