Most fighters with great amateur backgrounds don't become champions so I would say yes and sometimes the amateur boxing ways can mess a fighter up for instance amateur fighters are always jumping around and never learn to sit on their punches which you will need to do when you become a professional! you can't always out box a fighter and you will be hit unlike the amateurs where you're used to wearing a headgear. Professional boxing is way different than amateur boxing but its good to have some amateur fights just to learn the basics of boxing!!!
Well if the California State Athletic Commission keeps denying him a license I would say why not!!! I mean they've already punished him one full year and he stayed true to the one year suspension and did not fight in Mexico and now they still aren't sure about giving him his license back. Regardless of what he was caught trying to do , he did his time and now he deserves a second chance! Not to mention they don't have proof of him ever cheating only proof of him trying to cheat!!! (plaster like substance allegedly) With that said I say why not , he can't sit around and wait for the CA State Athletic Commission to make up their mind when they've had a whole year and more to think about it and make their decision!!!
I honestly don't see Mosley winning the fight against Mayweather Jr. therefore I'm pretty sure this fight will never happen!!! In the other hand the Pacquiao vs Clottey fight has a greater chance of there being an upset though i really doubt it!!! but if Clottey and Mosley were to fight I think Clottey would win a decision easily!!! Mosley is not that fast only when he has a stationary target infront of him but when opponents move he seems to have problems with them because he can't seem to land punches and hold after which is what he does best !!! therefore i would say Clottey would take this easily!!!

I think its a perfect match up if the Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight doesn't happen by the end of this year! Mayweather claims that if he beats Mosley he will have to receive the bigger percentage of money but if Pacquiao beats Margarito which Mosley ko'd then that would force a 50/50 split once again and if Mayweather still disagrees Pacquiao can claim that Mayweather never fought Cotto who outboxed Mosley to a decision win!!!

as much as I hate Freddy Roach, he is a smart man! he knows Chavez Jr. is in the right path to becoming a World Champion soon! anybody who thinks the Margarito fight was a blowout is a dumb-a-s-s who doesn't know anything about boxing! If anything, it was the hardest fight of Pacquiao's career and Pacquiao was hurt many times during the fight to the point that many fighters would of quit but Pacquiao is not a quitter like Cotto! Take the bad cut below Margarito's eye and he had a big chance to pull out the upset late in the fight but you can't take anything away from Pacquiao because he fought back even when pushed to the limit!
