Top Rank Has an Option To Promote Mosley's Next Fight

According to a report in the Manila Bulletin, there is no reamtch clause in the upcoming fight between Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley, but Top Rank has an option to promote Mosley's next fight. The fight happens on May 7 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. It does not specify if the option runs in both directions, with Top Rank promoting Mosley's next bout win or lose, or if Top Rank receives the option in the event of Mosley pulling off the upset.

“There is no rematch clause but I have an option [on Mosley],” said Arum. “[Mosley] is somebody not to be taken lightly. Mosley is a very dangerous fighter. He hasn’t been knocked out."
