He had a fight with Edwin Rodriguez (a potential beark through at CW) scheduled for the very next month. Maybe he realized he has no bright future in the division anyway but still it seems a little strange.
Of coarse they are!! fury already proved years ago wlad ain’t shat and that’s even been proved a decade before that! The 90s were so overblown it’s not even funny all those dudes got exposed this era is much better. I agree that the 60s-70s era was the Mecca but not those bums in the 90s wilder, fury, Johnson, and even jarrell miller would have their way with those 90s bums.
Yep, Johnson especially. Johnson would wipe the floor with Lanox, Hendrix and Myson in one night!
To ban proffesional boxing is the only thing that could be done really.
How do you want to prevent deaths in the "sport" where the goal is hitting the other person in the head repeatedly until he/she loses consiousness?
Olympic boxing is the only relatively safe form of boxing.
Well, the truth is as I hear from year to year Adam speaks less and less fluently, I am afraid of his future health. His style causes that he receives as many punches into his head as noone in the division. And it is HW, not featherweight.
Secondly, I guess it would be very tough for Kownacki to change his style and become either a defensive fighter or a runner away.
Can you really hear that in his interviews? I'm also Polish and it seems to me that he has always just stuttered a bit. Regardless, I don't think that retirement is bad idea for him either.
Your answer will be ignored. The will do like they dis not see that. Groupies will be groupies
I ignored it because it doesn't make sense. How can you seriously claim Wilder did MORE of this in that fight?
This was like a few cases for Wilder of what was more like bread and butter for Fury.
Every fighter rabbit punches. Of course if you clip every one and put them together it will look worse. Wilder does it more than Fury.
Not saying Wilder doesn't do it. This might have been the reason why he's kept pretty much quiet about it among all the excuses. The thing is how much of it is done by Fury. How many times he even landed a hard shot clean. He didn't even seem to try it much.
Why don't any of these dumbasses know how to embed?
Hahaha I had nothing against you reading your posts before but now you're sure showing me something ;)
You have no idea who you're talkin to and I think you don't deserve a serious reply :nono:
Almost all the top boxers have "dirty" tactics. You could make videos like this for every fighter. Fanboys only do it when the guy they like gets embarrassed though.
First, I don't really agree that all the top boxers have them. I don't know, for instance what the trick of Frazier or Vitali K. was.
Secondly, even if you're right, the amount and kind of those tactics do matter too. This Fury's borderline (?) rabbit punching and targetting the back of the head seems to be really extensive and quite disturbing.
Are you just as disturbed by all of Beyonce's rabbit punches and punches on the break?
I'm disturbed by many things he says and does, I actually am almost his hater, I probably would be if I took fighters emotionally like that.
The Fury fangirls would rather focus on 'Glovegate' because, these constant flagrant fouls committed by Tyson can not be refuted or ignored as a significant factor in Fury's tainted victory.
Agreed. My thread surely rubbed this denium guy the wrong way.
The results would be different otherwise.
Can't agree with that. I think Fury is the better fighter anyway.
Sometimes it seems to e like it has to do with a certain mindset. Like deadly punchers just don't give a *****, having no regard for the consequences of their punches whatsoever. I mean, a "normal" person has some restraints, doesn't really want to crush a skull of another human being, even if only subconsciously, doesn't really use full force. In certain circumstances though, a full force seems activated, like in cases you sometimes hear about, mothers lifting cars to save their children etc. The power of guys like Wilder, Kovalev, Tyson seems fully activated in the ring.
Helenius Obliterated Sam Peter with hellish shots. That was a long time ago but I wouldn't rule an upset out so easily.
I seriously suspected an upset. Went to sleep thinking that if I was to bet I would bet on Helenius KO. Woke up to this result.
There's too much falling asleep on certain aspects of the game. How hard was it to see that Helenius can counter and has power to KO pretty much anyone and Kownacki is wide open?
#Dariusz, co teraz powiesz? ;)
Kownacki has never been even rocked by noone despite all those punches he ate. Thus, I think also Helenius cannot hurt him with any of his straight rights.

I'm also worried that this could happen to Ortiz man..he is also getting too old to be in this sport. I mean like Stevenson he still has the skills and power but that doesn't matter
I don't think age has much to do with it at all. McClellan and Prichard Collon are the first two guys off the top of my head that got severe brain damage in a fight, both young.
How many other older boxers do you know with this type of injury?
The thing is, it's not about any safety measures. Boxing just does kill people or makes them disabled in nearly half of cases according to some studies. It is inherently immoral.
Every boxing fan with a brain suspects that somewhere deep inside, hardly anyone cares enough to try and do anything about it.
