The latest from Golzka, heavyweight Shannon Briggs has sent a message to WBA champion David Haye of England. Briggs will challenge WBC champion Vitali Klitschko on October 16 in Germany. He took offense to a recent video that was created by the British fighter, where he ridiculed Briggs' medical condition. Briggs wants to make him pay for the insult.
"In his latest wacky video, Haye called me Shannon 'Give Me Cartridges For Asthma' Briggs. But this isn't only an insult to me, but to everyone in the world who is suffering from this disease. For this reason, he will be number two on my list of victims, after Vitali," Briggs said. "Once I deal with David Haye, the first heavyweight boxer with a heavyweight mouth, the next victim on the waiting list will be Wladimir [Klitschko]."
