It is very simple. he brings the whole his weight to the punch when he hits with the right hand.
He is totally out of balance when he hits with right hand. At this moment, even Lago Kiladze could stop him if Wilder misses his shot.
Hearns and Corrales had the same build and had huge power.
Morales had pretty good power at 122 and looked rail thin at that weight.
IDK there are probably other examples Im missing but it seems like a common trend. Even SRL when he was young, he had a thin build and he was like 5'10'' tall enough for a welterweight and he hit hard too.
Sometimes it seems to e like it has to do with a certain mindset. Like deadly punchers just don't give a *****, having no regard for the consequences of their punches whatsoever. I mean, a "normal" person has some restraints, doesn't really want to crush a skull of another human being, even if only subconsciously, doesn't really use full force. In certain circumstances though, a full force seems activated, like in cases you sometimes hear about, mothers lifting cars to save their children etc. The power of guys like Wilder, Kovalev, Tyson seems fully activated in the ring.
He looks pretty ripped up so he has strength going for him but more importantly he just knows how to deliver a solid punch with great form. Remember Morgan Freeman's line in Million Dollar Baby? It's not how hard you hit them, it's how GOOD you hit them
1. He knows how to generate leverage with his long limbs and looping shots
2. He has the guts to throw with reckless abandon, knowing he'll take some shots in return and often look stupid by missing wildly and throwing himself off balance
he done some black magic sucking out strength and power from his legs and put em in his arms...that explains why his legs gave in when he put that ring walk costume on. his legs are only meant for twerking.
