Ha, love the way Bradley's trying to be all mean and stare Pacquiao down and Pacquiao's just smiling serenely. I hope the soap opera surrounding Manny hasn't affected his concentration. Looking forward to this now :boxing:
I've said this in another thread but I scored it 117-114 to Bradley, having watched it twice. The comentary in the UK was appalling, so biased in favour of Pacquiao. The main commentator said after round 7 that he'd scored every round to Pac. Absurd, a lot of close rounds, and I wouldn't be arguing if Pac had won, but it was far from the robbery people are depicting.
I'll be willing Bellew to wipe the smug grin off Haye's face, he's a classless piece of sh*t coming out with stuff like this. Can't see it happening though, this really is an easy fight for Haye.
Wow guy. Just wow!
Sorry but they're miles better than US commentators. Even the Boxnation guys are better than US commentators. US commentary is very much "say what you see" with very little insight, interspersed with pointless trivia. Awful to be quite frank.
To be fair, and ive moaned about this being PPV for months, this ended up being a cracking night of fights.
Ha, me too. I b*tched and moaned for ages, swore I wouldn't buy it, then eventually folded and bought it this evening. Really I glad I did, belting night's entertainment.
Headline fight was a barnstormer, everyone getting on AJ's back need to calm down, it was a tough learning fight and will prove invaluable as he goes forward.
What the f*ck are those score cards all about? Khan was clearly winning 4-0 after the first four rounds, Canelo had done f*ck all. Canelo won the 5th and was winning the 6th at the time of the knockout, so the scorecards should have read 4-1.
F*cking Vegas, I swear to God. Turns out even if Khan had managed to hold out he still would have been robbed. Nice.
AJ's feet are firmly on the ground, the guy's a dude and I think he'll make us proud in the next few years. And by "us" I mean boxing fans in general, not just here in the UK.
Sad to say I'll be supporting Alexander. I've had enough of Khan now, he's become more and more annoying over the years to the point where I actively root against him. And I was a massive Khan fan from 2004 until a couple of years ago. But if you're going to act like a nob all the time guess what, you'll lose fans.
I know other boxing fans who feel similarly.
Why are brits so delusional when it comes to there fighters. The fight isn't that big and wouldn't even sell 16,000 at barclays guaranteed.
There's nothing delusional about it, this is a huge fight that will be watched by tens of millions of people around the World. You just sound bitter that nobody in America gives a f*ck about boxing anymore.
Lol eddie hopes it happens next year because after 2018 AJ’s contracts up... if AJ goes solo & makes the fury fight by himself edward wont see a penny from it, coincidence that eddies trying to get his claws into fury offering him 3 fight deals? He needs a back up plan if AJ leaves... dillian whyte will be hearns best heavyweight 😂😂😂 #matchroom
What makes you think Joshua would leave Matchroom? They've done a pretty bloody good job with him, anybody would have to admit that.
Of the 'Bronze-Bombers' last six opponents, two have been ranked in the top ten by TBRB : Luis Ortiz was top five, Johann Duhaupas went on to rank in the top ten after his KO victory over Robert Helenius ; Gerald Washington was a prime undefeated world-class contender.
I say Tyson Fury is full of shyte, and Deontay has a solid resume for this division.
Two top 10 opponents in his last six fight? Is the bar really that low? Jesus, way to go champ.
Super tempted specially cos Ms Koba's away and the meal my stepdaughter had planned fell through cos her fella got COVID but works been thin just recently and I just hadda put a new alternator and pads on the car...

No worries, cheers dude. It's a harsh time of year!
My God, hardly the most inspiring words from a trainer! Is he trying to skew the betting odds or something? If not it sounds like he's got very little faith in Hatton's ability to get back to World level. I'm all for honesty but Jesus!
Cleverly's becoming less relevant at a time when his career should be on the ascendency. Warren seems to have bottled it with him after he went life and death with Bellew.
Matthysse at either weight. I'm not convniced Maidana should be at 147 anyway, but Matthysse is a far more rounded boxer. I wouldn't pick anyone against Matthysse at 140 to be honest, he's a monster.
Talking of which, I thought Bob Mee's feature about Steward on Ringside was fantastic. Well worth a look on YT if it's about, sorry I don't have a link.
"So if we accept that Marquez was on something (instead of timing and Pacquiao's momentum being the cause of the KO)"
Yeah, except most of us don't accept that, because it's bollocks.
Why wouldn't you accept that?
A car crashes into a parked car at 30mph - Driver gets out unscathed, car has minor damage.
A car crashes head on with another both doing 30mph = 60mph impact, both cars are wrote off and drivers suffer serious injuries.
You misunderstand me Dan. I'm saying I don't accept that Marquez was juiced.. and that I believe it was a perfect punch that Pac walked right onto, like you say doubling it's power.
I agree with those who say Chisora needs to rebuild first, losses to Fury, Klitschkto and Haye (not counting the Helenius robbery) all in a fairly short time frame. Not a good run on which to fight somebody as dangerous and heavy handed as Price.
Love Raging Bull and The Fighter, but the Rocky films defined my childhood. Rocky IV's still to this day one of my favourite films, and I don't give a sh*t how cheesy and unrealistic it is. It's melodrama, and perfectly executed melodrama. They should have left it after IV, Rocky V is an abhorrent, evil film.
This is such bollocks, he said repeatedly in the 12 months before the Garcia fight that he was making 140 just fine. It's not like he'd been there since he was 18, he only moved up from 135 after the Prescott debacle.
The really tragic thing is I bet his team have told him this and he's believed them, despite having been the person who was making weight pretty easily a couple of years ago. His capacity for denial is astonishing.
I was a huge Khan fight from the Olympics, right through til a year or so ago. I just can't stomach the fking bullsh*t he comes out with now. I used to defend him til I was blue in the face, now I just want Collazo to knock him out again. Such a shame, I know a few people who feel the same too, and he's nobody to blame but himself for his ever decreasing fanbase.
Fans will always forgive losses, but if you act and talk like a tw*t whilst fighting poorly, you're only going one way.
Adrien Broner's a borderline retard, without a shred of class. Not surprised by this at all, if she was in on it then she has no self respect whatsoever. If she wasn't in on it then he may as well have slapped her whilst he was at it, it was appalling.
And to all those talking about "haters" and "feel the hate", as if it's baseless vitriol aimed at somebody who's done nothing wrong... no. People don't like him because of the arrogant, dickheadish behaviour he exhibits whenever there's a camera pointed at him. Not for any other reason. So get over it.
