I'm glad you don't call yourself an expert because you have no idea obviously
Why you mad that someone could see the draw coming, stop being a fanboy..
In the end Mexicans will cast aside national loyalties and call a turd a turd. G made it a fight.
I'm Mexican
I wanted canelo to win
The draw was fair
Canelo is no Chavez jr, Barrera, morales or marquez who could let the hands go and brawl.
Canelo Has never been convincing
Canelo didn't get dominated that's fanboys talking
Look at those heated exchanges, Canelo got the best of GGG landed better punches in general (though both had some good shots)
You're giving GGG too much credit for being more active and the pressure fighter and discredit Canelo for not being active enough and backpeddling.
Every single time HBO showed a replay of GGG punches they all seemed to graze, I watched the fight again and yet again I had a hard time finding many crisp shots from GGG, on the other hand canelo definetely had the best of the exchanges and took the late rounds.
If it's one thing I hate is how hbo cannot call a fight down the middle, if not for max Kellerman telling them it's not quite what lampley is seeing then it would be an 100% gag fest. They had one exchange after a round where max says "canelo landed more crisp punches this round" and then lampley responds with "I saw triple g land more punches."
Up to that point no one had landed much clean shots, ggg was outworking canelo with jabs but if you pay attention to max who was being a realist, most of those jabs were barely grazing. I don't call myself an expert but have been watching boxing for 34 years and you could see the draw coming a million miles away.
You called it in the 8th round? Hahaha. Yeah that sounds rational..."Four more rounds to go, this is going to be a draw...even though there's still 1/3 of the fight remaining". :pat:
Pochos pendejos the same mcgregor fans now watch boxing 1 or twice and think striking out with a bunch of jabs means ggg dominated. Draw was very fair I called it in the 8th.
Again, going from how the fight transpired over the last half of the fight, not only did Canelo not knock the "tree" down by hitting it's trunk, he also didn't even prove the punches were effective. GGG only got stronger as the fight progressed. How do you explain that?
And, is the head a part of the trunk in this analogy. If so, GGG hit Canelo's trunk more times and harder than vice versa.
Of course they were effective, not enough to knock him down, but enough to take away his “knockout power.” We can’t compare a short range jab to a full range weight carrying power punch. A fighter can eat jabs all night, he won’t be able to eat full range power shots all night though.
lol it's never been about fighting on the actual day specifically May 5th or September 16th. It's always been about fighting on the weekend of "cinco de mayo" which is not even celebrated in Mexico because it was just the victory of the battle of Puebla, or the weekend of september 16 which is the actual Mexican Independence Day. By this logic Chavez, De La Hoya, Barrera, Morales, Marquez would only fight every 5 years back in the day..
Its very simple, if there is a mexican super star boxing thrives... Chavez carried boxing for a good part of the 90's and after that it was De La Hoya which carried boxing... If Saul El Canelo Alvarez can become the star that Chavez and De La Hoya once were, you can dam well bet MMA will simply be a small thorn in the side of boxing...
FACT - What happens when a great mexican faces a great black guy?
It ain't even close :D See Chavez vs. Whitaker
I see we're forgetting Chavez vs Mayweather.

Chavez a bloody mess from the Golden Boy's gloves..
im sorry jack_the_rippuh, but we all know that de la hoya owned no one in that fight.
Ya that was pretty dam funny, i wish someone would knock out merchant one of these days, i believe i remember foreman and merchant having a few similar arguments during a fight.
That translator for Morales was just horrible, that guy was making up 50% of the things. When Morales was asked a question about what his strategy was to beat Pacquiao he said something about slowing down the pace and using a more calm mexican style, then that dam translator made up some other stupid stuff.
