Too early to match Julio against a World champ, Cintron was put to the test a bit too early and you know what happened. Give it time.
I agree!, Margarito is way to much for unexperienced guys...
Looks like the pr guys are the only ones that think that Cotto has an opportunity vs the hitman, but reallity says something different! PR has his last hope in Cotto and that's what makes them think he will prevail against the greatest!, wonder why that fight is not around the corner?, how come Maussa went to England to try to unify while Cotto was wearing his "pantallas" and shaving his eyebrows?
If Cotto's managers think that he is not ready for the big 140 lbs fights and wants him to move on to 147 lbs, there is no way Cotto's name will be undefeated by the end of this year, there is no chances for him against Hatton (in 140lbs.), Mayweather, Judah or Margarito!, Sorry boris!...
How come some of you guys are saying that Corrales had to struggle to make the 135 lbs. weight when he is coming from 130 lbs?, he was an smaller fighter before, and this is suppouse to be a "better" weight division for him, because he is stronger and blah, blah, blah.... ??
I think that weight is really important in this sport, that's why there's a lot of weight classes with just about 3 to 5 pounds of difference. But in this particular case, I don't think that fact affected the ending of the fight, because Castillo had to make some adjustments before he entered the ring for the fight, and in my opinion, that made it for the "overweight" that Castillo came with on the weight ceremony.
I haven't seen Morales as clean and sharp as he was at the end of the fight!, how in the world will somebody think that Pacquiao won that fight??? ....
Yep!, Jose you're right!
this guys under-rate and underestimate Castillo really bad!!!...
But that fight is coming soon, and then they will be sorry, just like they did last weekend when they were saying that Morales was going to lose...
Castillo will defeat Corrales, no doubt!, Corrales was down 5x against Mayweather, while Castillo won the first bout vs the same guy...
There's no way Tito will survive against Lacy!!!
Lacy is just too much for Tito, even if they go toe to toe, Trinidad doesn't have the chin to stand before Lacy, who will rip Tito's head off!
So most of you guys think that Pernell won agains Chavez, and if the fight wasn't stopped an the 12th he would of won?, well, let me tell you something, after that fight Whithaker wasn't the same no more, he had some facial fractures, in his body was completly messed up to the point that he was peeing blood, and if we talk about the brain damage that he suffer because of that fight, you can still find him trying to be a world champion. That was a massacre in all means...
Chavez seams to be under-rated by the new "generation" of boxing fans, just the people that saw him fighting in his prime can say, he's not even close to be overestimated at all.
I think Golota will win, I mean, Who is Brewster? just a lucky guy that was able to stay on his feet thru a fight with a ridicously over-rated Vlad, and waited for him to get completly out of gas for 6 one sidded round, and all the sudden he won....
Oscar De La Hoya will terminate Judah by ko, Judah is not so good handling big power punches to the chin, and that is not a secret. Oscar is to big, to good for the smaller guy named Zab.
Most of you guys forgot about Oscar because his perfomance in the middle wight division wasn't good at all, but in the welterweight division he can be the man!
Oscar De La Hoya like I said, is being underestimated, because of his perfomance in the middleweights, but in this case, we're talking about the welters, where Oscar's confidence and power is really big. Oscar De La Hoya has speed, power, tecnique and everything to defeat Judah. I don't know if the fight will go on, but if it does, I'll go for Oscar all the way!
JC Chavez Junior es too young to even get upset about him, he's just a kid with a way to big name, and publicity is what make his case a big deal, and yes, he's making a lot of money for the show, so, i suggest you forget about him, and let's post this thread in two more years or so...
Beristain seems to be frustrated that his corner just lost the fight of their lives!!, Pacquiao means a lot of money now, and Morales is the only one that can pay the bill...
Hey Mau, i'm here to back you up!!!
I don't think this fight will be easy for anyone, but I know Morales is being underestimated because of his last fight vs Barrera, but hw will come back to proof all you guys wrong!
Morales just had a bad night, that's all!
You know I spend sometime everywhere...
This reminds me that glorious fight back in 1981 between Sal Sanchez and Wilfredo Gomez, everybody thuoght that Gomez was going to beat the crap out of Sanchez, you know the rest...
