What I don't understand is how ****** can you be to be doing coke before a fight when you know you'll be tested for it. Either he is incredibly dumb (which he doesn't seem to be from how he communicates in interviews) or he has a serious habit, which is hard to suddenly stop. It's sad because coke wouldn't benefit you much in the ring, and I doubt he used right beforehand. When boxing, you want to be in control of your mind and body as much as possible, which isn't something that coke helps with at all. On the contrary.
Sounds like a lot of people here have never used it lol.
I agree, people on this board have no idea and have not used. You would absolutely have negative effects if using right before a fight. Your stamina would be shit b/c your heart beat would not recover in-between rounds. You will be jittery, and not relaxed while throwing and slipping punches, causing you to gas. Your breathing would be shit and your punches would be stiff and telegraphed.
My flatmate is an optometrist and she says if Spence does have a retinal tear his career is basically done, apparently even if it's repaired he could suffer intermittent blindness for minutes at a time from simply moving his head too fast, let alone getting punched, and that getting punched will likely cause permenant blindness in that eye.
BS. Abner Mares had a dethatched retina before his second same injury on the other eye a few years back. Sugar Ray Leonard did as well, and he got surgery in the 80's and is fine...
shawn porter did this when he wrecked paulie with that hook. i think i've seen Shane Mosely do it against margarito as well. Very interesting i'm gonna look more into this lost art.
Floyd is trending on twitter.
Don't think Floyd wanted to go viral like this.
Reminds me of.
**** Cable lol lol hahaha. The Mike Tyson video is pretty funny. BTW, he's actually was a lot more composed and on point then what i initially thought judging from your response. Im an actor and i can tell you from this video I am impressed from Mike, he's handling those re directs very well.
Imagine getting 1.5m paycheck when your only 23 years old dayum
they w/ be lucky to see half their purse after promoter, manager, taxes, trainer, and other expenses.
Now added to the smoking hot females who date top flight pugilistic combatants (Froch's wife, Mosley's girl, Ms Jackson). Goodness gracious she was distracting as hell with how good she looked. Anyone know her name?
lol i she was very distracting i couldn't stop looking at her. she didn't seem to interested in the fights though?
also, froch's wife, lemme see what she looks like please and thanks! haha
Newton’s second law of motion: F=MA. Power = weight * speed. Canelo has more weight behind his punches but less speed. Floyd rarely puts shoulder behind his punches but max speed. The Bad Intent Law: the more you mean it, the more it hurts. Test it. Hit your girl while you’re playing. Then hit her when you’re fighting. Then ask her when it hurts more.
Watch how many idiots end up in jail…
LOL!! that was ****ing great.

Khan is done. Looks flabby and blown up. Reached his limit now, the decline will be swift.
lol lol those are photo shopped
One thing i never get about seeing these guys work with their trainers on the mitts....the trainer tells them exactly whats coming. Shouldn't the point be to emulate a real fight, when you don't know whats coming and have to react? The opponent doesn't tell you "hey, after you throw your one two left hook, i'm going to hook back and i want you to roll with it and pivot to your right!"
Hmmm. how do we know these injuries/surgical procedures were the result of Kovalev?
:lol1::lol1:
This chick talks adamantly about going to the gym, riding her horses twice a day, and lifting heavy stuff at her barn or whatever. Falls from a horse, lifting with bad form at the gym, lifting hay over years, etc can all cause the injuries she mentions.
Again, I just glanced at this thread and her little interview, so if I'm missing something I'm sorry.
He has an agent at Gersh. It's not hard getting gigs when you have a Hollywood agent.
Nailed it. Sad.... most real actors never even get a shot at a top ten agent and this clown is signed w em and trying to act opposite movie stars in Expendables 3.
It's weird, his footwork and coordination for punching should translate to power...
but he forgets to extend fully and punch THROUGH his target. This allows him to bring his hands back fast but then you lose snap on all your punches. He should mix up more between fully extending and committing and not committing to change it up.
But when this happens (Or if the fighter quits after taking too many power punches) armchair warriors come out in full force insulting the fighter and labeling him a quitter and calling him all kinds of names. If you argue against them, they refute your argument by bringing up fights in which fighters fought through with an injury like a broken jaw, etc. Which ever fighter doesn't reenact these valiant performances when given the chance, is a lesser man in their eyes, deemed unworthy of the label of "warrior".
If the fighter goes on to continue fighting even when he is taking too many clean power punches to the head, and his career starts dwindling after that, fans say "Fighter A ruined him" or "He was a warrior, but he should have quit in that fight, he was stupid." Basically you can never win with boxing fans, they are too judgmental.
man has a point...
