gone off him for his attitude but Froch should be on the list. 3 out of his last 4 fight were all must sees. Bute, Kessler and Groves were all great fights entertainment wise
I know everyone regards khan and his chin a joke now but R Guerreo hasn't finished a fight early in years, yes he tough and brings pressure but he is a bit powder puff
Bradley can fight on the inside, Khan can't.
Peterson did just fine against Khan, and he has no power.
You act like Khan's only weakness is his glass jaw. He also has a low ring IQ.
He has been working and improving his inside game. The 2nd knockdown of collazo was good evidence off this, was all from the inside, ending with a shot to the stomach
Audley Harrison v Sprott. Hurt his shoulder early, boxed near one handed rest of fight, losing going into the twelfth then left hook. Got him the Haye fight
If he wins the tournament? Yes, he'll be considered great. Do I think he'll win? No - but I'll be routing for him every step of the way. He's got the ability to pull it off, but the odds are not in his favour considering his 'chin first' approach. I'd love nothing more than for Froch to prove me wrong. I think we'll know a lot more by the end of his first fight.
same here good post
good reply!
That would never happen...they know khans a PPV attractions...theres no way they would put him as an undercard...although it would make 1 hell of a ppv
it would ease him into the american scene plus he's a free agent(i think so depends who he signs with)
There aren't many 22 year olds who have money thrown at them and one of the best trainers to ever grace the sport. As well as being able to hand pick every fight.
did you ever stop and think they was a good reason for that, 1 being 17 going to the olympics and winning silver and being one of the standout boxers there. That warren and roach see the talent in the boy and are going to invest money and time in him. Do you think that if amir was so crap the way you say he is that warren and roach would have anything to do with him.
you lost the argument with your own reasoning
Can we please talk about khan v salita? I dont give a f*ck what you think of khan generally just your thoughts on who wins/why etc
just thinking it would be good on the undercard of the pac-cotto fight
Khan is a disgrace to world boxing. He is a fraudulent bum who will duck the truly dangerous fighters in his division in pursuit of fights with boxers like shot to **** Morales and shot to **** Hatton.
please give this a rest now, every member now knows what you think of Amir Khan
you do not have to go into every thread about amir and just repeat the same hate over and over again. all the negativity cant be good for you
hahahaha dude WTF? i like brawlers more than skilled fighters, i somehow feel skilled fighters rely on that too much and can turn good fights into snorefests.
i.e hopkins
Wlad for me :hail:. He is very hard to hit these days, even Khan has tried to copy his style.
khan has more than 2 punches but i see the similatries lol
this place is getting dafter and dafter every day. Khan has done well coming back from that loss 10 months ago to win a world title but to say he going to be a legend is too far. There are no legends in prime in boxing just now, just past prime rjj. I dont think pac man or mayweather are legends yet, both still a couple of mega fights short in my opinion. Even calzaghe wasn't legend material.
Give amir a break and let him and roach expand his skills and sort his flaws out and see how he goes. Amir not ready for "a level fighters" like jmm, mosley yet and your saying he going to be in the the company of greats like ali, ray robinson, joe louis, hagler. Come on.
I like a variety, anyone who just doesn't want to hug for rounds. But I really like fighters who for every second of every round look like they have bad intentions and throw shots with real venom.
like haye then
i like alot of clinching...also, when they throw nothing but jabs or dance for half of the round...shit is so awesome
after seeing your avatar just made think of two tyson styles in the ring or even tyson v frazier, would be fireworks for sure
thinking ray lenoard past but not seen enough, ali over tyson for the heavies though, just now i would say mayweather uses his feet to great effect but only seen 4 of his fights so far
Wladimir Klitschko...
Everybody told him to retire after the Brewster loss, but he came back to become heavyweight champion! Quite a story...
get a grip and stop licking his balls
is michael gomez not getting his life story made into a film
Waldo is right, Haye is a little bitch and would have been stamped out like an old camp fire by Vitaly. That's why he's fighting Valuev, he hopes to get the WBA belt and call himself king without fighting anybody - a bit like that other fraud Amir Khan. I wouldn't be surprised if he ducks both K's for good and tries to fight lesser lights in the London O2 on PPV. We've seen this before from the people like Eubank and Hamed who both sat back on their WBO belts and ducked the other belt holders while making serious dough.
doughnut hamed beat all the other champions in his division,
wlad is a second rate version of lennox, methodical, leads off the jab, great physical attributes(in prime), but lennox has more variety in his punches, (atg jab as wlad does and best uppercut in hw history. he had a better jaw than wlad and the things that wlad will never have is victories over other atg and avenge his losses.
in the question of lewis top ten definetly, not sure wheres in top 10 would even be 1 or 2 if tyson, holyfield fights were earlier, fought bowe(not his fault) didn't take rahman lightly (mcall great game plan) but in prime agaisnt anyone i would place him in top 3 with ali and tyson
needs a shot soon because he is getting too big for lmw and will have to go up a division soon, goes in the ring at 168. his body punches are world class and is looking really hungry and focused these days.
