SERIOUS question, the division isnt great there is No great fighter in it, Forrest is past it, Kirkland is raw, Phillips is old, Spinks a joke, Martinez and Santos nothing special, Moore is up there i give him a great shot at anyone other than Paul Williams and even then its no walk in the park for Punnisher
I dont think its a great division to be honest but im not saying Jamie will tear it up i just think he is as good as anyone at the weight, i mean without disrepecting these guys Phillips and Forrest are past their sell by dates, Kirkland i like but he's to wild, Angulo is tough and strong but im not sold on him quite yet, Alcine dosnt impress me too much and Martinez and Santos are good but hardly special. Dzinziruk is the only one i havent seen
Moore has flaws and is never gonna be a p4per i doubt but i think he can at least match these guys
I feel he may be able to beat a old Verno Phillips, but don't count Forrest out to much, he may be getting on, but does live clean, and as he proved with Mora the second time, when he comes on form he can be very good.
James Kirkland may be a touch wild, but he is a very good aggresive fighter who could be the hardest puncher in the weight class, if he can get himself sorted and away from all this trouble, there is no dout he can be a belt holder, very raw and natrualy talented.
Angulo is still learning, but he is very strong, very determinted, and a good chin. Him and Moore would be a true slugfest, and one that I would love to see.
I don't think Moore could beat Sergei Dzindziruk, who I feel may be the best in the division, very good techinacly , with a great amature pedigree and a great boxing brain.
And Daniel Santos, on his day he can be brillant, other days medicore. But if he come to win, I think he may walk away with the win against Moore, Santos is coming off a great victory over then unbeaten Joachim Alcine, and he done it in Alcine's country Canada.
I figure Santos would come to England, as he dosen't really mind fighting abroad, him and Moore could battle for the WBA 154 Title.
But who knows, I expect Moore will make at least 1 more defence of his EU Title, and then look for World Titles.
Yeah, I think Spinks is his best shot.
Shame he doesn't have much popularity or he would be able to get a shot, or at least be put in there with someone like Angulo. Doesn't matter if he wins or not, I'm sure he'd make it entertaining.
Yeah, he could get at Angulo. I think Angulo would come out on top eventually, but he could win himself a lot of friends with a gutty performance, and Moore does not lack balls, thats one of things he has going for him.
I to think people well UK people may be getting carried away by him, due to beating washed up Europeans fighters in his home country.
World Level is a whole different kettle of fish, and I'am not saying he isn't a good fighter, but I feel he may be getting overhyped by some, and I think questions will be answered when he fights some world class fighters.
For sure. He is a good fighter no doubt, but he does not have the skillset of a top top fighter, and if you dont have that you MUST be exceptional at something like punching, speed, great chin etc, he is a well rounded decent fighter, but deffo not the best 154lbs out there IMO.
He could be a title holder though. I dont think he will be the main man though.
Maybe so, but I don't think he would have it all his own way with some of the best at 154, as I feel your not giving the division enough respect and there are some very well schooled and experienced fighters out there and some very hungry one's like Moore aswell.

I personally dont think he is a world class fighter. He is on that level just above Euro level. I think Williams would beat him clearly.
He would have a chance at Spinks.
Forrest i think still has too much for him, if you watch Forrest last fight with Mora although he lost the first fight through no being in top condition, he gave him a Boxing lesson in the second fight.
Moore struggled with Andrew Facey. He could/can win a title, but he is deffo not the best 154lbs imo.

I know he hasnt PROVED it yet but based on talent and what ive seen from him he is in with a shout against all the guys at LMW
He BADLY wants better comp this guy is literally chompping at the bit beleive me

Jamie Moore is not the best Jr Middlweight in the world and I don't think he's even got a claim to be. As he hasn't even beat no one in top ten of the division and his best win is over a 39 year old Michele Piccirillo, who said he wasn't retireing before the fight win or lose. And he hasn't even won a world Title.
But he has got a claim to be in the top 10, and there is no dout he is improving. But I would like to see him step up his level of competition, and fight some of the best in the division etc Sergei Dzindziruk, Daniel Santos, James Kirkland, Alfredo Angullo, and Vernon Forrest.
I just think there is no way you can call him the best 154 fighter out there at this present time.

I've been following his career for awhile now, i think he can compete with the top guys out there now but he needs to get on with it. He's had quite a few dissapointing performances in his career but from looking at his last two fights this is from lack of challenges and just fighting pond life from around the domestic scene.
He looks like a new fighter since he's got these bigger fights and also started using kerry kayes as a nutritionist.
I reckon Frank Maloney will put him in one or two more european defenses before he get him on the world scene, unless something opens up quicker.

I saw Spink's last fight and he showed lots of guts but he seems to have lost the speed in his feet and reactions which is what made him a good fighter, i think he is there for the taking, I would try and fight him it would be a good test and Spinks is a big name.
Is Kirkland going to be free to fight anytime soon?
The way people are talking, it seems that he might end up doing time (again).
Im not sure whats going down, hopefully he gets free to fight soon i like the guy he brings it!
Moore can fight, but it's a lil too soon to say he's better than the top guys at 154 imo.
Thats why i would love to see him in there with the top guys, But he shouldnt go near williams or sergei D because both would just counter him all night....He needs someone like Kirkland who likes to slug or joel julio, But he needs all those fights now, I feel sorry for him sometimes when he talks about fighting the same level of opposition all the time, He needs a fight that would motivate him.
I would love to see him in there with Kirkland and i would pick him over kirkland at the moment, The fact that Moore is soooooooo hungry right now makes me want to back him.
Yeah i hear u, the guy is just chomping at the bit and it makes u want him to do well!
Moore would Knock Kirkland out IMO, tough fight and Moore can be hurt so obviously a puncher like Kirkland is in there with a shot but i think Moore is technically better and hits hard enough himself, Infact i think Kirkland would be the perfect opponent for him right now
He NEEDS to be tested before he go's off the boil
