Super Flyweight? How does a guy even weigh that light without being malnourished?
Anyway, good luck to him. It takes balls to step inside that squared circle.
Brook's never fought anyone with half decent hand speed or footwork. In fact he's never fought anyone with decent power either. It's going to be a big shock when he steps up to fight the likes of Alexander and Khan.
I hope he knows that no trainer will make him their priority.
For a lot of trainers out there, Khan would be their top money maker, who has the potential to box for another 10 years, so I very much doubt that.
fighters who keep getting SPARKED out aren't going to go on til 35 or if they do it ain't gonna be pretty
yeah, that's why I said POTENTIAL. If he learns defence and what to do when he's hurt, there's no reason to suggest he couldn't fight into his 30's.
Lets see if Khan grows some balls now and faces Joan Guzman!
You can question Khan's chin, but not whether or not he's got the balls to fight. He's proved that many times, now he's just got to prove he's got the brains to fight.
Maybe obscure trainers, but if he's looking at guys like Steward, Robert Garcia, Pedro Diaz, or Joel Diaz I don't know if he'll be #1 priority. But I guess it doesn't really matter unless two fighters under the same trainer have a fight coming up around the same time.
lol, doubt Joel Diaz is in the frame, but it's certainly going to be interesting who he chooses.
we've got to remember that Khan is only 24, not in his prime...he will get better in every aspect in the coming years, although i don't know how he can get any faster.
amir would definitley be a challenge for floyd, hence why the fight is unlikely to happen, if a 34 year old de la hoya can get a split...a young faster Khan with a better Jab and Roach in his corner (who has had alot more time since the de la hoya fight to study floyd) will definitely cause problems.
I'm not saying he would definitely win just he would be a challenge.
I don't know anything, boxing is the Theater of the unexpected so anything is possible friend..That does not matter tho, cause skill for skill Bradley still is the better fighter..I really don't see how Khan would have a slight edge(outside of you being a lil unstable),Khan is a repetitive puncher with very poor footwork..Bradley would be favored in this fight..surely..
Yes I would give the edge to Khan against Timothy 'let's say I lose to Amir Khan, what happens then?' Bradley.
But like I said, close fight, wouldn't be surprised if either guy won.
The punch that hurt khan was to the neck not chin and after he
was already hurt khan took some bombs and stayed up.
I like Danny a lot good kid good fighter but I'm already tired of
His dad. Way too much mouth.
That's what I'm thinking as well man...Khan took some hard punches on the button, when he was on wobbly legs and stayed up, it was only when he was hit on the temple that his balance was affected again. His chin is nowhere near as weak as some people make out.
Khan is the greatest Muslim fighter to date.
... And Schaefer doesn't want to loose the Orient race to Top Rank.
They should fight in Sharm el-Sheikh.
Currently the greatest Muslim fighter is probably Hopkins tbh.
I'd like to see Broner in with Maidana next. Just to see how he is when he gets tagged by a real hard puncher. At the moment we know he's got decent skills but don't know what his chin is like.
Floyd should fight Trout...he's more deserving of a shot than Guerrero or Alexander. As for those 2, they should try and make fights with Khan or Ortiz. In fact, even having had a bad 2012, i'd much rather see Khan or Ortiz in with Mayweather come May 4th.
Big step up from a bum like Saldivia who first gets knocked down by a jab and secondly can't get up from it, to Devon Alexander.
Brook should've taken and intermediate fight against a Maidana or somebody.
Devon by UD.
Amir Khan is more well known in America than Brook is outside Sheffield. Everyone in the UK, boxing fan or not, knows the name Amir Khan. Only boxing fans know the name Kell Brook. Khan has 1.2 million twitter followers and 6300000 fb fans while Brook had 61000 twitter followers and 8000 fb fans. Khan has fought top 10 opposition in America and won 2 world titles while Brook has dominated mediocre opposition in his back yard.
And they want 50-50? hahahahahahahaha. They know Khan won't accept and then they can say he's ducking...good one Hearn.
Tim 'but what if i lose to Amir Khan so i'm out of the Pacquiao sweepstakes' Bradley: 'Somehow, someway, i have to hurt Pacquiao'
You can already see the gameplan here...jab, jab then BOOOM! HEADBUTT TO THE TEMPLE AND ITS ALL OVER!
This guy couldn't even hurt people at 140 without using his head so how's he gonna hurt Pacquiao whos been in with Cotto and Margarito?
Khan will win the tournament because Peterson will beat Matthysse and the Judah-Garcia winner and then face Khan who will be a lot better than what he was in their first fight, which Khan won anyway imo.
Although, Peterson being dropped by Bradley, Ortiz twice and wobbled by Khan means Matthysse does stand a great chance of knocking him out but i think Peterson will box smartly and win.
Reaaaaallllyy Marquez? You don't want 10-13 million dollars to potentially beat a guy you already beat when he was less damaged? Even if you lose you still get remembered for that knockout and walk away with a nice retirement cheque.
Apparently it was somethintog he took before the first fight?! So Amir went into his opponents backyard, with a hometown referee, 2 American Judges, a random guy handling scorecards and a drugged up opponent and still only lost a split.
Whatever comes of this, the guys got balls. If this was the other way around the storm around this would be crazy. The haters would be calling for his head.
Roger Mayweather has been quick to push how Khan was on steroids and how Lamont whooped Khan's ass. Looks like he's the one that don't know ****.
Unless Danny catches him with one of those monster left hooks, Zab wins. I just can't see a slow wild fighter like Garcia outboxing a slick southpaw like Judah.
That is as long as Judah's conditioned to keep up the pace for 12 rounds. He sounds like he is. But we'll have to wait and see.
Isn't anyone interested in a rematch with Matthysse?
Was a really good scrap up until the eye closed. Even with the closed eye Matthysse still came on strong late.
But if no rematch yeah, logical move is to go to 147 because there's so many good fights there.
doesn't matter if it's a year from now or 20 years from now, there is no way in hell Frampton will even win one round against Rigo. He's just to smart and to skilled.
ok he 4 trainers does that help any....lol...big lou right ,khan camp along with khan is confused...I dont understand these guys...we just going to call there camp cant get right lmao...an big is not the only Alexander fan....you dont know ah soul in boxing who can beat Devon rite now...ill wait...kevin is one of the best trainers in the game...he has three world champions under his belt... some of these trainers spend ah life time tryna get one....but he just do his job an let haters like you hate #peace
Can you retype that using the English language this time please?
I don't think Danny will get his shot till May 2015, he would get shut out by Floyd so no need to hurry
If I told you there was a fighter and he had 3 losses but 2 were robberies and the other was close I'd be embarrassed.
what's there to be embarrassed about? it's true. You can't help judges scoring a fight incorrectly just like Floyd can't help the history books saying he beat Canelo by majority decision when really it should say Floyd beat Canelo 120-108.
What about Carson Jones? Dude is a beast. Carson beats Khan anyday.
hahahahahahahahahahahaha...you're joking right? please tell me you're joking. :lol1::lol1::lol1:
floyd has never protected his 0.he just dam good at boxing you jealous hater
hahaha, mate, let's just forget about floyd's previous opponents, let's even forget whether or not it's his fault the pac fight never happened and answer me this. Will Floyd fight Trout or Martinez anytime soon? Just answer me that. Will he? 2 tricky fights that can easliy be made at 154? I doubt it very much, so yes i think it's fair to say he protects his undefeated record.
And I'm not a Floyd hater, out of any boxer he's probably the one i've most watched on youtube, because he is incredibly skilled, but just stating the truth.
