I’m not sure who is to blame for that but the people looking after his career surely should have been pushing harder for his opportunity.
==================
Frank is not sure who to blame so he blames Eddie :)
And no, DDD won't beat Whyte right now.
It ain't over until its over. Look at Klitschko's career. 3 pre-2015 losses. All humiliating. All to opponents he shouldn't have lost to. After the third loss even Vitali told Wlad to retire. If there is someone knows how to bounce back its Wlad. I doubt he won't help AJ.
It should backfire. I hope it will. This will be seen as cultural appropriation, Fury needs to catch up with times we live in. But what can we expect from a h0m0phob, antisemit and misogynist?
Now you're just moving the goalposts. The initial argument was about Yarde's chin, not his endurance/stamina. You just wrote a paragraph about something entirely different.
Oh, the infamous "writing about something different" police...I always thought I navigated the internet too carefully to come across your menacing breath.
P.S. Didn't you start talking about him being tired as a reason for being KO'd? Jeesus, man, even Wilder's right hand will turn into a kitten's paw if he is tired enough. What is your point? :bottle:
Yarde has the potential to go the distance with any of the current LHW champs.
He was totally outclassed by Kovalev skill wise, winning only 2-3 rounds of the 11, but he showed a great chin and plenty of heart.
He was knocked out by a jab, how is his chin great? He did show a ton of heart though. I'd be surprised if he doesn't become a champ within 5 years. He should also consider switching trainers or start doing sparring. Tunde's no sparring policy is bizzare and unprecedented in the sport. If only the result proved that there might be something to it.
I didn't know about Yardes wacky training, just the same, all the things I said about Kovalev are what these guys are saying now. A rookie like Yarde got to him, Yarde just ran out of steam. Nobody told me he didn't spar.
Aging in boxing is very individual. It seems like age is catching up with Kova a bit faster than expected. Clearly he is not in his prime anymore. He is still a force, but I'm not sure he can hang in for 12 rounds with the other champs in the division.
The jab that knocked Yarde out was not what knocked Yarde out. Yarde just had ZERO energy left at that point. He had already fell down by himself prior to the knockout.
Its a common excuse for boxers - oh, he was doing great, but just got tired as if this is something outside of boxer's control just happened - like gloves fell off or he slipped on a wet mat and broke a leg. Boxing is not a sprint-like sport, its a marathon, in marathon it doesn't matter how well you run the first 2 miles, you've got another 24 to cover and if you can't - it doesn't matter how good you are in a sprint, you just not ready. And that was very evident on Saturday. Your skills are useless if you can't apply them consistently for 36 minutes, that's where the primary challenge in this sport lies. Fighting like Mohammed Ali for 3 minutes out of 36 does not make you Mohammed Ali :)
It's not about how hard you work but if people are interested in your product. If nobody is interested they will never be paid close to what males are getting
That. Beat me to it:)
your such a deluded ggg die hard,poor thing didn't get the memo that ggg got his ass beat so hard he took a 1 yr sabbatical & has now now officially announced what knowledgeable fans have said from day 1: that "ggg will face a bum in the hopes he gets another ginger lottery payday","ggg won't face any champ/top opponent because theres 30 mil payday on the line"(ironic from mr non businessman coward) ggg is an ultraprotected pssy who has defrauded his fans from day 1 with bogus promises/claims in order to make himself rich til 34 facing cans.
thats why ggg has now yet again backtracked on his every word by announcing that he will continue ducking non ginger champs/top fighters,& will continue koing cans like the good ol days when you diehards claimed he was invincible.
lets review gggs career: he got a gift W vs Jacobs(rightfully a draw at best),where the judges were all the ones who had judged several ggg fights in his favor(the same ones ggg had in his corner both canelo fights & 1 was the only 1 who gave ggg the win 1st fight)
Then afterwards ggg held a press conference to announce hes ducking Jacobs rematch 4 life(he only fought him after he was mandated to fight jacobs by ibf & he delayed it a yr over like 200k$)
I stopped reading your post after the first few words as I concluded it was unlikely to meet the minimum intellectual standard warranting further read. Not to mention response :dunno:
Andrade vs GGG in June, please. Canelo-GGG 3 at Aztec stadium in Mexico City in September for unified lineal middleweight champion! Now that would be fantastic
For whom? For Canelo? In Mexico City he would not even need to step into the ring. They'll just count the 12 rounds and:"And the winner by unanimous decision....And still! Ginger! Let us look at the screen, which now shows how the winner of this bout is sitting in his living room with his family, eating clentacos and smiling".
That would be fantastic, wouldn't it?
Say what you will about AJ, but in all likelihood you are looking at somebody who will be as dominant as Klitschko. And, of course, in 5 years people will be convincing each other that the division was weak and that's why AJ is so dominant.
The "When it was Hearn" bit.
It's clear what you were implying. You are the one who wrote it. If you didn't mean that, then you should have chosen your words a little better.
Actually, what you are referring to was a quote from the article to which this forum is attached to. Frank Warren said that. It was a quote. From Frank Warren. Just to be clear (seems like it might be necessary) - I'm not Frank Warren.
My comment is in the second paragraph below. Before you start lecturing me on how to express myself, give it a shot at developing better comprehension skills. If you thought I wrote both paragraphs, weren't you thrown off by the fact that they were too mutually exclusive to come from the same person?
:stupid:
Andrade is not on Canelo's level. BJS is too defensive and no way he will win a decision against Canelo by running away from him. GGG is the only one who can dethrone Canelo, but he is getting old. Oscar's strategy to wait out on GGG worked out perfectly.
Now we have to listen to all the rubbish about Fury and Wilder not wanting to fight Joshua when it was Hearn who went on national radio stating he doesn’t care if those clashes never happen.
===========
If there is one thing Eddie was known for in the last months is complaining about Wilder not willing to fight AJ and the very detailed descriptions from Hearn about how he is trying to reach out to Wilder's team to talk about it. I followed these negotiations with Wilder and I'm not siding with Wilder one bit..
He doesn't care any more because he's sick to the back teeth of it all. Don't try and make it into anything else. Finkle and Wilder are the ones who said they won't fight until 2020. Hearn has never said anything like that. He's doing all he can to get the fight made. he's jumped through every hoop going and made endless concessions while Wilder makes not a single one and runs for his life like the coward he's always been.
I'm not sure how what you said is different from what I said.
You were trying to make out that Hearn is the one who doesn't really want this fight. He doesn't care any more because of all the cowardice and games. He and AJ are just going to make fights with those who aren't scared and show he's willing to fight anyone whenever they want it.
Where did I try that? Point to it.
The Gypsy King is correct AJ needs the home advantage with a stacked deck and shady officials or he will refuse to fight. But Wilder is no better he has behaved terribly for a decade not befitting of a champion. Even a 400 pound Tyson on the sniff had more credibility than either man.
You talk such nonsense that it takes any credibility of your opinion.
:bsflag:
Fury stuck in time 25 years ago when trash talk and calling everyone else bums was the thing. Nowadays being humble and respectful goes the long way. When will this degenerate catch up and finally wake up in 21 century? Coke will do that to you kids, stay off the blow ;)
Klitschko hit really hard but it didn’t affect me
==============
That's because he didnt hit you, idiot. If he was himself that night, you'd need an ambulance. But don't worry, Wilder wouldn't fight you like Klitschko. Don't forget you running shoes, you'll need them.
That is if the fight actually is going to happen
Give it some time, all roads lead to AJ anyway... AJ should not be in a rush to fight Wilder or Fury. None of them can generate the same PPV revenue as AJ can, heck, both of them fighting in December won't beat AJ's numbers in the UK alone.
So, AJ should just be patient and wait for them to crawl to him. He is the king of the division, he should not be chasing these two, let them come to him. Assume that Wilder wins, who will he fight next? Breazele? :)))))))))
It takes the greatest of all time to call out middleweights who are 2 feet shorter and 60 pounds lighter. You have just only now managed to tie your shoes without losing breath, let's see what you've got first.
Canelo made a champion at a higher weight division look like a rookie! Canelo is a beast!
It takes a b level fighter to beat Fielding, Canelo took a candy from a little boy. Its bullying, not boxing :) i meand did Canelo even break the sweat? Easy lucrative night for judges.
Fury doesn't need to prove anything. He beat a younger version of Wlad than the one AJ went life and death with easily, on his own turf, and for his warm up fight before Wlad he stopped Christian Hammer - who is better than anybody on Wilder's resume - without even raising a sweat!
Judging by how Wlad was with AJ, Wlad had an off night when he fought Fury. And Fury couldn't knock out a 39 year old man, who did not fight. Need I also say Wlad was well past his prime?
There are guys on the scene now, who are in their prime, who are good and close to the Fatso King in terms of age, size and experience. If he is the greatest, as he claims, he would have beaten them first and then retired. Right now he can't beat fat off his belly :pat: And, let's be honest, Fury hasn't earned that much to afford not to be motivated anymore. AJ has more net worth than Fury and he hasn't let himself go like this :bottle: And with his "issues" he'll drain his bank account in a couple of years and get on job-seeker's allowance fighting journeymen in some basements weighing like an elephant.
So its not the motivation he's lacking (he seems to have low standards in proving himself only by winning a fight against an aged fighter, who didn't fight), its heart and discipline. That's a shame, I'd love to see him being beaten into a pulp by AJ.
Good. We know that this sht will continue based on Bennett's attitude. Eventually, we will have to blame the fighters for choosing to fight Canelo and Ward in Vegas.
