I gotta go with THUNDER. Too strong my pacman at 140 which was his best weight. FOTY type fight. I say it would be around round 7-9 in a ten or twelve rounder
By trainer is fighting in Edmonton tonight, his name is Kevin Reynolds. Any idea how he did?
I know Kevin, good guy. I hope he won. I train out of the Astoria Boxing Club on 70th and granville. I also had two fights, an exhibition and a just got a win this past week.
When you see him next tell him Lev Jackson from fightnews needs an interview.
Sure thing man. What weight are you fighting at?
We have a guy in our gym with the surname Jackson, and we call him action, so fancy that.
I saw that Jackson have an exhibition bout at the Library, Blue Collar Boxing style.
I am fighting way down in the 120 range. I am only 5'6.
the only coward is molitor for fighting at home, come to where the real men fight queer.. USA
Then where is your top guy at 122, I dont see him. It doesnt matter where you fight it matters the results and Molitor has good results in all of his fights
Who is likely to win the unification between Molitor and Caballero?
The Canadian Kid hands down.
It is amazing that fans call fighters cowards lol.
I know a coward when I see one, im a fan and a fighter bud. Do I respect anyone willing to get into a boxing ring and fight, of course, but there are times when people show true colors of being corwards, much is the case right here.
Previous resumes mean nothing, recent competition shows that Molitor has fought better fighters, with better results. The two of them have one mutual opponent, Ricardo Castillo. Castillo fought a back and forth even fight with Ceballero untill be got DQ'd. Against Molitor, he got beat to the punch all night and got badly outboxed to a wide margin defeat. So as far as resume's go I would say Molitor has the better one.
so we can this, than izzy and juanma get it on, and the winners meet for some sweet super bantam cookin'.
fair enough, the unification will be a hell of a fight
Uhhh previous resumes count. Beating Somsak Sitchawalitch, who beat the former WBA champ Monishpur in FOTY 2006, and Daniel Ponce De Leon is better then anything Molitor has done. Ceballero is such a coward...then why is he willing to fight Molitor?
Molitor would box circles around Ponce De Leon, and his promoters offered up that fight on many occasions to no reply from Ponce. Molitor as said before is a very slick fighter that is hard to hit and is the best outside fighter in the division.
Retiring? Hard to beleive. He was brave against Cotto, has alot of exposure, and we would certainly need to see one more fight to see if Cotto ruined him at all.
Cotto did not ruin him at all. I like the guy too, a ton of heart. From what I heard he is looking for a september or october return, probably a friday night fights is my guess. To the likes of someone like a Ray Sanchez or Cintron.
I also heard rumors of him going down to 140, I find that hard to believe though.
From what ive seen and heard he's pretty good. He will have his hands and head full on October as he is in with a very tricky fighter and makes for akward fights and ussually comes out on top. This fighter might be able to in a small way expose him, but I should hope his chin will be not exposed by a guy with 2ko's in 14 wins.
I think you found your niche Ryan! Short factual articles! When you don't include your opinion, your journalistic incompetence is much harder to spot. Good work, I am proud of you!
He didnt right that....

thank g-d for that. I didnt want to see Gatti catch anymore beatings for the rest of his life. I loved watching that guy and the heart he showed. Enough is enough.
I watch this show every week on TSN. Russ really knows what he is talking about, and puts together a great show. ESPN should pick it up IMO, it would be very marketable in the US. Russ also is the creater and owner or Rival Boxing gear, so he is not only a boxing geek / trainer.
Molitor is stronger then most give him credit for. He takes the fight against Ceballero.
If Lopez and Vasquez get it on. the winner of both fights MUST meet up.
Hope Matthew wins. He's a good guy. It would be a nice little personal victory for him. To lose to a fighter that your brother beat is a hard thing to swallow.
Its going to be a very hard fight for him to win.
I dont think Ricky beating Tackie is very relevant. I am pretty sure Matthew already knows he is no Ricky Hatton.
Pascal is very athletic and I can see he and Froch having a very close fight either way.
I think he will try and aviod that Taylor fight for a while. If Froch wins I can already see Taylor as a Interim WBC champion. The more attractive fight for him would be Pascal vs Bute unification at the bell centre. Those two cant stand eachother and there from the same city, that sells itself.
I have always like Tackie. I expect him to be back in the winner's circle tonight with an impressive win. He has come close against some good guys.
Warior Man by KO.
butterbean vs. kimbo... seriously though stick this gem on the undercard of say margarito vs. cotto rematch that will get you at least 200k more ppv buys probably more, even if you think it is a circus fight dont act like u wouldnt love to see it
Yeah sure, and why dont you have Old George Foreman have a comeback against Charlie Z while your at it...
Chuck man. I respect anyone who has the balls to get into the squared circle. But man if you lose to this peice of trash, its the end of the road for you. He got KO'd by Lance Moody in the first f*ckin round. I saw Moody fight against David Lemieux and that guy was shi*t, and he beat the guy you fighting.
Man if you lose, never think about boxing again, but feel free to take a trip up to Canada, come to my gym, so I can see our 106 pder work you around the ring, :D.
The 20 second count in Bute Vs Andrade.
He beat the f*ckin count you tool. Watch it with a stopwatch if you have too. He was on his feet before the 10 and the round was over. You cannot be saved by the bell, yes. But the rulling is, if your on your feet the round is over. Lern your boxing before you comment, noob.
I say Bute's athleticism, speed, and strenth play a factor and he have a workmanlike performance to break down Taylor over 12 rounds.
Bute UD. I dont see him making the same mistake as the Andrade fight ever again.
I have followed Reynolds come up and have seen him fight many times. It was nice to see he made the WBC rank list.
How is the contender gym? Are there any amatuer or pro fighters out of there, or is it just blue collar and boxercise?
Gomez has a lot of heart, and with the right match making he could get in line for anouther title shot. This is provided he stays active apon his comback.
Angulo isnt too impressive when he spars. I was at the La Habra gym one day watching him and Alfonso Gomez sparring and Gomez was working him around the ring.
