In light of recent developments, where there's a good possibility that Juanma Lopez might land in the undercard of Pacman v. dela Hoya, who of the three would you like to have him face? Or if not one of the three, who?
Well, I guess this fight's happening after all...I guess the powers that be reads Boxingscene.! Juanma vs. Concepcion is one hell of an undercard... problem for Concepcion though is who's gonna train him? Roach is kinda busy with Pacman and Amir Khan...he cannot be serious about fighting Juanma with an half-assed training. :lol1:
what about juanma who has he fought?also bums ponce whats the champ but an elite champ.
Juanma annihilated almost every bum he faced including Ponce de Leon, Abner Mares doesn't win with such ease, not to mention the fact that he's sidelined for a year because of a detached retina.
no i dont think so dude it can go anyway on a late tko
The guy's been fighting bums and blown-up flyweights. How's he going to deal with a bigger and stronger superbantam champion in Juanma when he can't even dispose of certified bums at bantam?
Dang, I guess Bernabe Concepcion's out of the Juanma race too. He's set to be on the undercard of Arum's Dec 13 Macau card against Antonio Davis at featherweight. I guess we'll be seeing Juanma vs. Ponce de Leon 2! :D
I'm not saying it won't be a great fight with JML against those 2. JML has talent, but just not enough to beat em at this point in his career. I thought JML was going to beat PDL cause Ponce was throwing his punches all wild in that fight. I called it when it started.
I don't hate JML, I'm just no onboard the hypetrain yet.
Good points - I do hope he steps it up in Dec. Man, that honey on your avatar is FIIIINE!!!
Yea he lost to Penalosa & Vasquez06, but atleast it will be a big scale in competition compared to who he's fighting next. My number 1 choice though is R.Marquez. I don't think JML has what it takes to beat him or Izzy. That's just me though.
What is it that Juanma doesn't have to beat Rafa and Izzy? It'll be a great fight - just interested in what you think he is lacking (as far as skills)? MANY folks on this site just knew that JML was going to be KO'd by PDL...
Chicken shit ALA Gym of Cebu boxer Boom Boom Bautista chickened out and begged to be transferred to the undercard of Hatton vs. Malignaggi. I guess he's out of the running in this poll :D
Juanma reiterated his interest on being on the dela Hoya vs. Pac undercard having just won via 1st round KO...I guess this thread deserves another look. :boxing:
Your right, he will put him to sleep...
fucking delusional dumb fuck..
Hmm didnt Gonzalez have trouble making the weight? oh thats right
try harder...maybe you'll be able to grow a brain, cunt-face.:fu2:
yup against a bigger, younger, faster champion who is also technically sound...
gerry sticked to the game plan of attacking the body and get gonzales there, JOHNNY made it really hard for gerry to get close...
but the old man keep on trying and got the results as planned, but what was not in the planed was to get him the RESULT with one shot...
True, they weren't even giving Penalosa much of a chance to win in that fight. Between Boom-Boom and Penalosa, many believed that Bautista had a bigger chance of winning against de Leon than Penalosa winning over Gonzalez.
Penalosa has never been a big puncher. Look at his Ko ratio. But he was able to drop Gonzales and dude was in serious pain. It takes a helluva lot more than luck to pull that off.
