I agree it was a great performance. I don't think anyone can talk about his stamina now. I do wish that he learns to cover up more after throwing his left.
Bingo!! .......
Penalosa had the ability or the chin to last till the 12th round... but he was getting really beat up... and at his age, he can't afford to take those kind of beatings... Roach did the right thing..
Hatton is wide open for the left hand, and with Ortiz's power, timing and patience, he would end up getting cracked hard and then get devoured by the follow up right uppercuts.
oh yes. I said it.
Imo Ortiz is ready to be champ... so here's another yes..
Watch from 1:22 on.
That is some super fast shit, thats the shit that makes you P4P# 1.
Before Khan brings his Jab back to his head, he's already been rocked by a great 1-2 combo.
Pacman is some fighter.
Watch that bit over and over, speeds insane.
That was nice..
tell me just one, just one "fight of the year" he has been in. his fights are nothing compared to that of ali, tyson etc. in the entertainment department. and i really don't care whether he comes back or not. his fighting style is boring. period. it's like watching a mouse fight against a lion. and the lion is all aggressive and what not, whereas, the mouse is running circles around and throwing punches here and there.
lol freddie roach is right. pacquaio-mayweather would be boring. lion vs. mouse would be boring because of mickey mouse. :boxing:
waiting for all u stupid mayweather ball lickers to come out and say how ENTERTAINING mayweather-castillo (LOLLL the first fight that mickey mouse lost by the way) and mayweather-corrales fights were. lol they are nothing, nothing compared to tyson-berbick, ali-frazier, ali- foreman etc. p.s. mayweather-baldomir was very entertaining too lol.
so stfu and admit it mickey mouse ain't as entertaining. i'm not trying to hate. floyd is a really good, really skilled fighter. but his style is freaking boring. would rather watch a hamster run around.
So your point is that because Floyd is boring to watch, it means he's not great?
Great logic..
are you for real? baddest? nyahhahahahhahahah good one
Let me guess... you think the baddest man on the planet is Pacman..
Am i ryt?
I don't give a fwuak who you are there is only baddest man in the planet...and you all know who that is...
Kobe?
Didn't this slag claim he killed Jimmy Hoffa?
"It's all in his mind.."
thats ****in crazy but that seems like it should be classified under different criteria..more militiant
You're right... Disregard that post..
Men I dont know why but after seen Hostel, Im kind of scare of easter europe, Coutries like Romania, Russia, ecte, ect, ect!!!!!!!!
Eastern Europeans are not right in the head... No offence tunney and wlad owns..
And quit preying on the elderly. He wants to have a real HOFER record and refuses to be the 21's century Marciano. As so he has announced his next opponent, we all know him, he's young, he's extremely talented, no one other than Pretty Boy BAM BAM! Calzaghe camp is looking for 2 rematch clauses in case of a defeat "It's only natural man, who's the draw anyway?" When questioned about the size differences Joe said "People can say whatever they want, either they are too old, too small, whatever. They will never give me any credit for any of my wins..." :spankme::spankme:

You gota admit he dont in for the kill anymore. Really seems like he worries about his opponents getting hurt.
Roy's left testicle is about to explode... Please let go..
Does Roy care about his opponets getting hurt? Sure... Especially if they're named Tito... But when it comes to real threats like Hopkins, Calzaghe, Dawson... I doubt it..
If he finished him after knocking him down.. but Roy has no killer instinct.. too nice in there now
Too nice in there now? Let go of Roy's nuts for a second will you... Jones did not finish Calzaghe off cos he couldn't.. Calzaghe was all over him after the kd..
what the hell is TS? i wish you'd just say what it was, seems everything has an abbreviation on the net
Thread Starter..
Oh and i changed my post just for you..
I love you..
Roach wants only Mayweather
By Ronnie Nathanielsz
TRAINER Freddie Roach wants Manny Pacquiao to wait for the outcome of the Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Juan Manuel Marquez fight set for July 18 and then take on the winner.
Conditioning expert Alex Ariza told www.insidesports.ph, Standard Today and Viva Sports that Pacquiao has nothing to gain by fighting Miguel Cotto, who is also handled by Top Rank promoter Bob Arum.
Arum said Pacquiao would be at Madison Square Garden to watch Cotto’s welterweight title fight against World Boxing Organization/International Boxing Federation champion Joshua Clottey and probably make up his mind on whether to face Cotto. Arum also dropped the name of World Boxing Council lightweight champion Edwin Valero, who mauled aging Antonio Pitalua to win the 135-pound belt relinquished by Pacquiao.
“Roach doesn’t like Manny to fight Cotto or Valero, but it’s up to Manny although I think Freddie is pushing for Mayweather Jr.,” Ariza said. “There is nothing to gain fighting Cotto.”
Ariza said he agreed with the suggestion advanced by Gerry Peñalosa’s manager Billy Keane, who is also close to Pacquiao, that the most logical thing would be to wait for the winner of the Mayweather-Marquez fight, which most people believe the former pound-for-pound no. 1 boxer would win. “It’s because that will also bring the most money for Manny.”
With a consensus building up against a possible Cotto fight, Ariza said it wasn’t a question of being too concerned about fighting the Puerto Rican. “Cotto hasn’t been the best at 140 pounds but still there’s nothing there for him . Waiting for Mayweather-Marquez will also help,” said Ariza, pointing out that if the fight doesn’t do big pay-per-view numbers, “it will give Manny more bargaining power to get a bigger piece of the pie.”
Arum himself had earlier told Standard Today that Pacquiao is on top of the world and in a position to dictate terms and that from his own point of view, the maximum Mayweather Jr. can get in terms of a revenue split for a Pacquiao fight would be 35 percent, with 65 percent going to Pacquiao. “Come on. Manny is the draw.”
Keane also told Standard Today earlier Wednesday: “I don’t know why he will fight Cotto. If you’ve got a big fight, if you’ve got a super fight, you take it. That’s Floyd Mayweather. He is not going to make any more money.”
