Joe became a champion at age 25, whereas Froch is 31, so he definitely cannot afford the luxury of taking it easy, he has no choice but to jump in at the deep end. Good luck to him. Froch needs to forget Calzaghe. There's nothing wrong with occasional trash talk and trying to bait the top fighters in (although baiting 37 year-old retired fighters is kinda weak, IMO) but Froch needs to carve his own damn path. But i wonder how froch thinks about the earlier rounds where he was made to feel ordinary? Does froch still think he is so good i wonder is basically what im getting at? Will he calm down with the praising of his own abilities publicly? Taylor is a pretty skilled (and very fast) boxer. Froch is still coming up, as it was only his 25th fight. To be fair to Froch I'd say he's still learning. Hopefully he will learn from the Taylor fight and work on rectifying his mistakes. If you recall during the post-fight interview he mentioned that he's still learning and wants to start quicker next time. Froch has always been a late starter and rarely finishes a fight early. Nah...Meldrick was clearly winning the fight, this fight was close according to scores. And Meldrick got up and(at least he thought) was coherent. Jermain was pretty much finished. taylor was also clearly winning the fight but the stoppage was the right call i totally agree with the ref

There was only 14 seconds left, but Jermaine was out, and would have been hurt badly if the ref hadn't stepped in. He was on his feet, but he was bent forawrd ina bowing position just taking power shots. If anything JT should personally thank the referee for stopping it.

i thought he was going to lose too, i thought froch was still not ready for america....but this guy stepped it up tonight. he's lucky taylor wasn't ready for a 12 round fight. some prankster in his camp told him it was a "special" 11 round title fight. bless his heart.
