Former three division champion Marco Antonio Barrera is still unsure about whether or not he plans to return to the ring. Barrera took a beating last month at the hands of UK lightweight star Amir Khan. He suffered a terrible cut in the first round of that fight and the contest was stopped in the fifth when the ringside doctor felt the cut was too severe to allow the fight to continue. Barrera also fought in January, against journeyman Freudis Rojas. He suffered a bad cut from a clash of heads in that fight too, and won by third round disqualification.

"I am going to think about my future. I have to decide if I want to continue in boxing or it's better to leave things [as they] are and retire," Barrera told ESTO.

Barrera has a lot of time to decide. The cut he suffered in the Khan fight was so severe the doctors told him to stay away from the ring for at least eight months.
