Floyd Mayweather is good NOT great

Fair Critisizm. Tbh, i agree with you to a certain extent. If Pac beats Hatton, Floyd will need to face Pacquiao to settle the arguement about who was no1 out the two. Pac will become 4 times lineal champ, first time in boxing history, hence why Floyd may be overshadowed by Pacquiao. Fundamentally Mayweather is one of the greatest fighters to have ever stepped in the ring. He certainly seems to lack a career defining fight though, which is possibly because there isn't anyone out there capable. Perhaps Mayweather vs Pacquiao is that fight.
