Im a HUGE JMM fan, man but Sal pretty much did everything JMM can do, and did it better...plus, he had much greater stamina, was faster, and had a titanium chin.
Sanchez by wide UD.
sorry Bam Bam but Canelo falls into this category.... for now..
No.
Not Canelo, and definetly NOT Rios.
Neither of these guys will come close to being what Chavez was.
End of discussion.
I feel the same about Danny Garcia. Dude beat a shot to pieces Morales to be the ring champ at 140, a guy he already beat before.
Actually, he beat A Mere Con to be The Ring champ.
Yeah, it's like Miguel Bosé, the famous singer from Spain. His father was also from Spain, mother was Italian and he was born in Panama. Interesting how some have such a melting pot. Then again, we Puerto Ricans are the product of a melting pot ourselves.
Diego Corrales is another example.
Colombian dad, Mexican mom, and born in the States.
You can ask him about it, but to ask him if he's embarassed by his father? You know he's never gonna badmouth his father so what's the point of asking this? Just a way to subliminally attack them. He's simply mad because the drama happened right when they were about to serve food.
:haha::rofl::rofl::lol1:
Green K sent.
I see what you mean but I have something to say about the bold. Luis Miguel's parents are not Mexican. His father was from Spain and his mother was Italian. I should know because I'm a fan of the guy even if his attitude seems kind of douchey.
Beat me to it.
His parents lived in Mexico; is about it.
Luis Miguel is pretty much a mutt.
EXCELLENT night of boxing!!!
Salido-Garcia will be a great clash of styles, and will be by far the biggest test of Garcia's career. This fight will tell us what he's really made of.
Martinez-Burgos is an excellent fight. Both fighters are tough as **** and we got a classic PR-Mex battle. I got my boy Miniburgos on this one.
And Rosado deserves MAD MAD MAD props for taking on a very dangerous guy like GGG...Whether this is a mismatch or not, this bout has the potential to be very exciting.
I CANNOT WAIT for this coming January 19th! HBO finally stepping it up here.
I'm checking out the tickets tomorrow, I saw Mikey beat Remillard live and I think I gotta go watch him beat Salido live.
Props to you, my dude. I wish i could see a great card like this live.
Have a good time, bro and don't get too upset when you see Salido beat Mikey up live! :D
not happening
Just checked MSG's website and the tickets don't go on sale till tomorrow, but the tickets range from $25 - $200, i like them prices.
You are up for a rude awakening, my friend.
We shall see on January the 19th. :boxing:
Same crap they've been saying going into each Marquez bout.
Yep.
And they'll be saying the same sh't after the fight:
"I had leg cramps"
"I underestimated him"
"Jinkee slapped me"
"I went to bed ar 10:30pm while he went to bed at 9:30pm"
"I didn't have my lucky socks on"
So i hear Alex Ariza didn't much training with Pacquiao for this camp?
I guess without Ariza's shakes Manny isn't as durable as he was before??
See, i can also use dumb pacturd logic.
If you guys remember, early on in Juan Manuel Marquez career he was known as a "boring" and difficult fighter.
It's actually been a while since JMM leg's have been shot. If you notice he doesn't move around like he use to (obviously due to age) and now he uses his boxing intelligence and lays traps for his opponents. He's taking on a more aggressive approach because of that and it's making him more fan friendly.
Has any other boxers in the past changed up their style due to not longer being the same fighter and doing it successfully?
Hopkins.
B-Hop was much more agressive and appiled alot of pressure in his younger days and was more of a savvy counter-puncher is his later career.
exactly ..he could'nt hurt pacqauio with everything he got then all of sudden he was dropping him with ease in the higher weight?...
also , jmm never proposed any testing ..there was nothing to accept .
Stop lying to yourself now.
JMM has been on record saying he'll do any type of test, watch the 24/7's.
Pretty much what everyone else said. Just the worst fan base I have ever encountered in sports.
This.
Manny is a good dude, and deserves all the respect in the world.
Seems Pacturds have a hard time understanding what technique, timing and accuracy means. Especially when their hero comes in way wreckless, lounging in, and off balance.
pac is known for his power , not jmm..but after last night i dunno ..the guy is a beast puncher all of a sudden
Even tho they have the same KO ratio?
Marquez has always packed a punch, ever wonder why he KO'ed most of his opponents at Lightweight? Including some who happened to be naturally bigger than him and never once stopped in their career, despite being in with p4p some of the harder punchers in their division?
yes ...the ratio is irellevant coz they koed difrent caliber fighters..
Oh yeah, even tho JM had KO'ed dudes who have never been stop before?
and lets not forget about Pacquiao taking 9 rounds to get rid of David Diaz while he was hitting him with everything but the kitchen sink the whole fight, or how about the much smaller Oscar Larios going the distance with Manny, despite getting KOed not too long before againt Israel Vazquez?
