Good luck on that one man. I used to live in Burbank and I couldn't find one fucking place that would show it. They'll show MMA though even if it's PPV sometimes. Boxing just isn't a big enough draw for them to shell out the 50$.

I was at the fight live tonight and his style is a trip. It reminds me of an Armenian dancing style. Since I am half Armenian I got to see that shit a lot growing up at big weddings and stuff. Their obvious startegy was to try and over power winky. Taylor ditched his jab and tryed to swing for the fences every time. He had some great combos and such, but winky won the technical side of the fight. I am sure they counted on winkys being mr featherfist and taylor being able to over power him and KO him. Winky walked Taylor down and jabed him all night and got him on the ropes and let loose. It was indeed a close fight, i saw it for winky. Winky didn't do much in the 12th , but I think he did more than Taylor. All I can really say is Taylors last 3 fights have not really impressed me. he hasn't won convincingly and is getting gifts IMHO.

Taylor won't beat Calzaghe. Unless he's jet lagged or other from fighting in the States if he's going to or otherwise, he'd beat Taylor in Wales easily. He's just way too fast, and his handspeed is unparalleled at 160-175. I don't think Taylor has ever faced a guy who can hit hard.....and puts together rapid combinations and doesn't stop throwing the entire damn fight. I also don't think Taylor has a punch that could bother Joe C, and I'd also hazard to state that Taylor has never faced anyone who punches anywhere near as hard. I have to agree on this one. I think Joe would destroy Taylor and make a mockery out of him like he did lacy. I think Calzaghe should be avoided at all costs.. although I would love to see Taylor get KO'ed =).

Dude Taylor aint no bum, he is still green yet he beat Hopkins twice and beat Winky, I dont think he is sloppy, he has good speed and power, everyone has their own opinion about it, fair enough, no need to hate on a fighter who fights the best at less experience then them. I wouldn't say he beat wright. He does have good speed and pretty good power, and yes he is still a very unexperienced fighter, but I have to say his last 3 fights I don't think he won clearly or convincingly at all. Taylor may be a great fighter one day, but at the moment, I am gonna say HBO is nut hugging him infinite and giving him gifts. They couldn't get away with giving him a win last night, so they gave him a draw. He keeps the belts, no harm done.

Uh... the last time I checked I was not black... But maybe that has changed since I was in a mirror last. In any event, onto the Gatti thing. The talent thing I am not going to address too much as we will see about that this weekend anyway. As for Gatti being a Warrior and not scared and loves to fight, and blah blah blah-- here is my stance on all that. Gatti is one of the most protected fighters in boxing, and that bugs me because nobody calls him out on it. I mean, who has this guy fought? He has fought ONE elite fighter and that was years ago against De La Hoya (a fight in which he got smoked I might add). I mean, alot of fighters could look good if the best guys there were fighting were the likes of Mickey Ward, Ivan Robinson, and a one foot in the grave Jesse James Leija. And guess what, now that Gatti has finally stepped out of his little circle of B and C list fighters for a monster payday, he is going to get smoked again. Second, I don't want to hear about this BS about Gatti being a warrior, especially when he built what little stature he has by essentially cheating his way to fame by coming in super heavy against guys who were on the fringe themselves. I mean, no matter how many times people mention Joey Gamache it is like you Gatti fans just ignore it. Gamache was about as nice as it gets, the guy came in and signed autographs and spoke to my class when I was still in elementary school. And I lived in a town of less then 700 people in rural Maine, so it is not like he was just in the neihborhood. Did he deserve the fate he suffered? I think not. Lets ask Gamache if he thinks Gatti was a warrior when he came in about three weightclasses heavier then Joey and ended his career by giving him brain damage just because Atlantic City's prodigal son was seeking bigger payday's on HBO. Gamache does drywall in Maine now because of Gatti, not exactly fitting for an ex-champ who once fought Julio Cesar Chavez if you ask me. Another thing, I think that part of the reason that fans are so obsessed with Gatti is just because he is white. The guy is basically a bum fighter who turns into a punching bag when he gets in the ring against elite competition, hardly the first guy to carry that resume. So why does he get so much attention I wonder... So my thoughts on Gatti are that he is undertalented, classless, over-protected, and a creation of the media hype machine. Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking... what's not to like? Joey knew what he was getting into, thats not a fucking excuse. Yeah gatti blows up like a balloon it was to be expected. Forget that about Gamache knowing what he was getting himself into, they changed the damn rules because of what Gatti was doing in that period of fights. It was bending the rules so he could have an advantage and it ended the career of a good fighter and a good person, and even could have ended his life-- that is NOT what the sport is about. I never said that people are obssessed with Gatti because he is white, but I am saying that it is stupid to say that people hate him because he is white, because in the world of main stream media his skin color certainly does not hurt his marketablity and any realist would tell you that. Mayweather IS the best, no questions. Zoo was supposed to beat hatton he didn't, mayweather was supposed to beat Gatti he did. Mayweather fucking owned Gatti, HARD. That was incredible he punished Gatti all of those rounds. I don't think hatton could do to Mayweather like he did to Zoo, MW is too good. Right now, Hatton should just run back to England and fight bums again because his perfect record goes down the drain against MW.

The few times he did clinch, ( few and clinch in a sentence about ruiz says something in itself) I didn't see Toney doing his " amazing inside body work ". I give ruiz credit, like some people have said, he did the best with what he had. Sure the guy was boring as hell but he really wanted to be there and did what he could. He stood up tonight with Toney and tried to prove that he wasnt a boring fighter, he wanted people to like him, and frankly, I don't blame him. I felt bad for Ruiz tonight, I am not a big fan of his, but I really felt bad for him. That "knockdown" was utter bullshit and everyone saw it. I was not impressed with Toney at all. He looked like shit imo to be honest. I am not trying to hate on Toney I just think he is getting to much credit and being too hyped up for the heavyweight division and for this win. If Ruiz had smothered his ass it would have been over. Ruiz did get caught with counters, but if he would have kept that jab in toneys face and smothered him, like usual, I think he could have pulled off a win. I think Ruiz beat himself tonight, he tryed to change his styles in too big of a fight, against a good foe. Toney didn't put anyones lights out tonight, I doubt he could have if he wanted to. Also , as much as I like Roy, he was being an idiot, Vitaly would destroy Toney. He would put T's light out for goddamn sure. I don't think Toney is to credit for " ending " Ruiz's career. I feel he would have stpped down after any loss. Toney is too hyped for the heavyweight division, he didn't show me anything last night. If Ruiz had played the hugging game, Toney would be on the sofa stuffing his fat face about now..not like he isn't doing it already.. Easy win for V imo.. Toney is to small and I think Vitali is too strong. Vitaly can be relentless and Toney's " opossum " technique won't work. He will be eating hard jabs all night and eventually, get ktfo. Imo, after Vitaly going rounds with Lewis, getting a huge gash on his face, and still wanted to go at it, proves that he is a force. Toney could possibly do some damage if he got inside and worked the body, I just don't see it happening with that long jab. Vitali's style is just so akward as well, I don't know if Toney could adapt and counter effectively.

all this talk about the physical tools that Taylor has that equal or surpass Hopkins is missing the point by a mile. Hopkins will beat Taylor with his mind. one way or another, be it before or during the fight, Hopkins will get inside Taylor's head by doing or saying something. look what he did against ultra confident Tito and Flag Gate. Hopkins will take Taylor off his game plan. He'll be aided in this endeavor by the fact that Taylor hasn't been on this kind of stage before and will have nerves. Hopkins has been here before and knows in his heart that he will defeat this kid. he's done it at least 20 times before. After Taylor is taken off his game plan, Hopkins will pick away at whichever gap in Taylor's defense he chooses. at the end of the fight, i'm thinking Hopkins will have taught Taylor a valuable lesson with which he should/could win the middleweight title AFTER Hopkins rides off into the sunset. i'm thinking Hopkins by UD... p-zout! Toney is by far NOT the best heavyweight in the divison. He is dam lucky ruiz was not smothering his ass because the way he fought, he would have lost. I don't think it was Toney slipping out and avoiding the clinches I think Ruiz just tryed something new. Toney has no shot at VK, he would be creamed. Just look at the size advantage for one, VK knows how to put that jab in someones face, he knows how to move, which may look like running away I admit, but its effective at getting away, I think his akward style would make it impossible for toney to effectivly counter him all night and score. Calling ruiz a bum right now isnt saying much for Toney either, like other people have said, Toney did not dominate Ruiz. Toney got the W tonight and for now that is all that matter I guess. I give Ruiz major credit for fighting a different fight then he is used to, and not looking too bad. I think Hatton is a bit better than people give him credit for, Cotto did look amazing though the other night. It would be a good fight to see and it could go either way. If Cotto boxed, he could win, if he let Hatton bait him into a war, well its tough to say I guess.

I don't think a " Punchers Chance " is gonna help KOSTYA when he is being smothered , and he even said he had never felt so tired in his life. Hatton had Kostya's number man there is no way around it. He couldn't find his rhytm, no, Kostya didn't have a puchers chance from the way I see it, Hatton had the right plan, he worked Zoo too well, it was over, zoo knew it and he wasn't gonna be KO'ed. I don't think so. Hatton did exactly what he wanted to do with Zoo. Zoo is no push over and Hatton basically had his way. Now I am not really a Hatton fan but the fact that he had such a great game plan vs Zoo and stuck with it proves that he can follow through. Hatton would just be too much for Cotto, he would be relentless and end up dropping him. Cotto showed some good boxing skills in his last match, but I am starting to think Hatton is a real deal and would KO Cotto in the later rounds.

McBride dosn't have a chance

Just because some boxers quit, it dosn't really justify calling them bitches. Hmm well lets takes a look at Vklit- He called it quits once because of a shoulder injury yet he still wanted to go the distance with Lewis even though his eye was falling out of the socket practically. I think thats more of him knowing when something is serious and knowing when to keep going. That cut was horrible and it should have been stopped, but he didn't quit. Who really cares if Tyson quit...I mean really what did you expect..I was pulling for him yes, but its Mike Tyson we are talking about, its not uexpected. Another fighter who called it quits was Kostya, but jesus christ man, he was fighting on Hatton home turf, with 50,000 Hatton fans and 0 Kostya fans. Its was 2 in the morning, and Hatton was smothering him. Kostya knew he couldnt win, he was dead tired , and I doubt he wanted to be KO'ed in an embarassing fashion. Once again I have to say this was the right call on his part. Cotto and Mohommed was a decent fight. Did you see his eye though, it was shut, he could not see, it was a matter of time before he got KO'ed. Calling it quits was the right thing to do before getting hurt more and once again embarassed. Some fighters have the heart to just keep it going , thats why Arturo Gatti is such a popular fighter, the man could have his arm fall of and he would still keep going. Some guys just don't engage themselves in that type of a fight, and IMO I don;t think they should be looked down upon, every one has the way they do thing, and just because chico or gatti will keep going no matter what, life or limb, some guys want to keep living and keep fighting to see another day and know when they are out classed.

Tarver might get a UD againt Glenn but I don't see a tko stoppage. In their first match I think they both came in saying they were ready but toward the middle of the fight from what I saw, I think they both might have taken each other a bit lightly. Glenn was screaming to just his punches out there, while Tarver didn't look so hot either. I think he even looked a bit scared. I think Tarver's win over RJJ gives him a litte bit more than the win Glenn got, RJJ had already been totally ktfo by Tarver and when Roy stepped in with Glenn he looked like he didn't want to be there and I think that was due to Tarver. Tarver should have won that last match imo, I was walking out of the room because I thought they would give it to him, when they said it was Glenn I was a bit shocked. In the end I don't think Glenn has the power to stop Tarver, I think he is going to come into this fight with better conditioning than he had last time, BUT, I think Tarver just took Glenn a bit too lightly last time. I think we should look out for him to be more focused and on the money, I like Glenn and I hope he pulls it off, but I am gonna say Tarver wins UD
