I give Taylor props, I dont see anyone beating him

Taylor won't beat Calzaghe. Unless he's jet lagged or other from fighting in the States if he's going to or otherwise, he'd beat Taylor in Wales easily. He's just way too fast, and his handspeed is unparalleled at 160-175. I don't think Taylor has ever faced a guy who can hit hard.....and puts together rapid combinations and doesn't stop throwing the entire damn fight. I also don't think Taylor has a punch that could bother Joe C, and I'd also hazard to state that Taylor has never faced anyone who punches anywhere near as hard. I have to agree on this one. I think Joe would destroy Taylor and make a mockery out of him like he did lacy. I think Calzaghe should be avoided at all costs.. although I would love to see Taylor get KO'ed =).

It's not true, Lacy officially had 12 losses in the amateurs and none were to Jermain Taylor. I have all 12 losses listed in front of me. nearly 200 wins though too if I am not mistaken?

Lacy actually has a very, very good amateur record. I can't work out how a guy with his amateur pedigree could look so shit in his last fight, but I guess it was just Calzaghe's wizardry! that's a very good assumption...calzag. tore his a$$ off the bone..damn lacy..

Taylor would feed Lacy the jab all night. But with Taylors lackluster defense and low boxing IQ, Lacy would have a great punchers chance. But I would still favor Jermain. Jermain like to get into exchanges because he never fought someone he could trade with and lose, thats something he might not want to do vs Lacy. Stewart will tell him to give Lacy a boxing lesson and dont ever trade.

I believe Taylor and Lacy fought in the Amateurs, and Taylor won. Can someone who remembers or knows the exact happenings confirm this? I was just thinking because no question Taylor has the better jab and boxing skills but he is no where near as fast and bouncey as Calzaghe and has shown weakness when pressured........I think Lacy could beat him.

I'll bet you alot of internet points that Calzaghe would beat him. i would bet you the farm...i agree with the above dude..i dont see anyone else beating him myself..winky wont in the rematch either. strum would lose and calzag. would also get beat up...
