In person, Ward looks fast and looks quick on his feet. Ive seen his Kessler, green, an Miranda fights live as well. This was my favorite.
Man, but he fight of the night was the very last fight of the evening, after HBO already cleared up an left. Robert Guerreros little brother made his pro debut ( as did his opponent) they were bangin for all 4 rounds and ended in a draw! Very action packed!

Thanks guys! The WBC belt was nice and shiny in person.. Had a little more weight than I thought it would have.
No pic with Dawson because I was out of town for his media day and after the weigh ins he disappeared.

I spoke briefly with Steve Smoger after the fight and asked him what dawson said before he stopped the fight... He asked chad "what do you want me to do?" and chad said " get me the f*ck outta here."
Honestly, for the actual weigh in I didn't have as good a spot as I wanted. So I was able to get a good look at either fighter. But from what I saw at wards workout he looks to be in great shape and I've heard the he is deceptively strong.

it's b/c he's filipino. filipino's are very proud of their background/culture. And they're very proud of celebrities who are filipino. he definitely has skills, you can't doubt that. but being filipino definitely helped his cause.

right after the fight i told my friend:
Mayweathers probably out of jail by August. Bob Arum doesn't want Pac to fight him so he makes Bradley win so Pac fights Bradley in a rematch in November instead of fighting Mayweather.
All I read was title..... no way the 4th fight should happen. Even if he DID win, JMM will NEVER get decision. Too much money at stake for a FM vs. MP dream match. Even if it never happens. they'll both stay undefeated regardless in the hopes/dreams of everyone that it will be made one day
honestly, i still don't think Arum will let it happen. It's unfortunate, but it's probably the truth. hope i'm wrong though. i got quite a bit of money on Floyd if it ever happens!
However, his availability apparently will not speed up the timetable on a possible Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight because Pacquiao won't be available to fight until June anyway, according to Bob Arum.
Arum, who promotes Pacquiao, said he will travel to the Philippines next week to offer four potential opponents to his star fighter. None of those four is Mayweather, and today's ruling in Las Vegas, by Justice of the Peace Melissa Saragosa, will not change that plan, he said.
"I don't think it has any impact," Arum said, upon learning of the ruling. "No impact at all. Manny isn't going to be ready to fight until summertime."

My avatar pic was actually a picture I took at the Ward-Kesslar fight in Oakland. I was able to run down to ringside and catch Ward on his way out of the ring - took the perfect pic!
I definitely would recommend going to Vegas for a fight! I was at the Pac-Morales III fight at Thomas and Mack Center. Atmosphere was NUTS!! and of course after the fight the city was still buzzing! a must at least once if you can!
PAC fans would never boycott! They love PAC too much. But they love hating on Floyd even more! Hell, u know they intensely watch all of Floyd's fights already.
I think it would have huge repercussions.
Pac vs floyd would probably do around 2 million PPV's with each bringing in a million ppv's each
Floyd would be the one paying for all the world wide advertising and marketing which would probably be around $50 million for a fight of this magnitude
And the Satellite companies, HBO and distributers get at least half of it
So when its all said and done, Floyd would actually probably lose money
Lets not forget that after the Cotto-floyd fight, this site for the first time I can remember after a big fight, did not crash. This site crashed after Hopkins - Dawson 2 lmao
